Hi!
Yeah I logged in during my lunch break, but time flew away and I didn't have time to comment. (And the afternoon/evening has been very busy).
Great job on the wonder!
I agree 100% about the road between Svartholm and Nummijärvi. Might speed up transit now, but can also be vital defensively if ever Serdoa gets frisky.
At first I much preferred the original city 5 location, but in the end I don't mind much either way. In the alternative location we get better value from that plains hill forest chop at least (we also get a shot at claiming one more forest from Serdoas city, but I think he'll chop it before we gain control of the tile. In the original spot it would've been great if we had gotten control of the forest in Sevastopols second ring (forking the two cities), but looking at DZs city I think it looks like the ikhanda has finished by now...
[speaking of DZ and culture it's quite easy to spot the library in Mondatta (which just expanded borders to third ring) and I would be kind of surprised if he didn't have one in the capital by now.]
Going through the cities I'm not quite sure why you in Svartholm put the sword first in the queue and didn't just restart the barracks? Have you changed your mind and think we need more units rather than a promotion on each?
In Virta I switched the granary back first in the queue (if REM would attack I want to be able to whip the archer to at least take down one more unit, but otherwise this city needs all the help it can in growing).
Oravainen is longing for some more production tiles. After the workers have finished the plantation I guess one could go to the hill 2W of city and start mining. Did you put a road-turn into the silk-tile? If so, another turn might be in order before continuing the started Revolahti cottage and then going to river plains hill (to chop-mine) as soon as construction is in.
In Pyhäjoki I'm not too fond of working the unimproved ghf. I'd rather run a scientist then as the city will crank out a GP eventually anyway. I wasn't sure if you had calculated that we needed the wealth hammers to reach construction on a certain turn or something (I guess 1f might make the difference on which turn the city grows as well), so I left things like they were for this turn.
Jutas I'm not sure about. At first I thought we should whip the settler next turn for overflow hammers, but now I'm not sure if we're too late with the settler for the value of it to be very high and we could be better of slow building that and saving pop/happy for cat-whips.
Pulkkila would be nice if it could get the marble improved, but that's not likely to happen anytime soon. 11h overflow from the work boat works out very nicely and I guess we'll see a double pop whip for a cat here asap.
In Alavo I
was kind of tempted to squeeze in a worker first. The city will grow quicker than we can keep up with improvements and really needs more mines.
Worker action suggestions:
Kim finish Jutas plains hill mine.
Mel moves to iron and mine on his way north (plains hill next to Alavo and then stone quarry?).
Charlie and Andrea farm wheat, finish off iron mine and looks for things to chop.
Georgia can go on chop duty on tile you suggested (needs cover).
Hikaru continues road between Nummijärvi and Svartholm.
Bobbie mines grass hill shared between Alavo and Svartholm.
