I could tell you my ratings for seven or TBS but you said you just needed 2 ratings before you posted your tier list...
(plus, you know I already gave my thoughts on TBS in my PB29 thread... )

In Finland pupils are graded on a scale 4-10 where it's really hard to get a 10, but most people with a decent brain and a long enough attention span can manage to squeeze out an 8. If you've hanged around at this site for a while and you don't visibly make a mess of any aspects I'd therefore consider a grade close to 8 very likely (considering the pool of people that only try out civ for a short while, never enter a forum and reach perhaps monarch in SP). I guess you're more focused on separating the really good players from the very best, and there's nothing wrong in that (in fact it makes for a more interesting read), but it's just to say that there's a reason why it might be better if it's the same person that grades all players...

That's a good point tao, and I agree... Mack we want a tier list from you, not us.
We all have our own idea of what a rating system of 1 to 10 means, so combining our ratings may not make sense. I personally feel like if you have a scale from 1 to 10, then someone's gotta be a 1 and someone's gotta be a 10, but more than one person can be a 10. First, a 10 can mean anything from a 9.1 to a 10, so there's room for more gradual degrees there, and second, I feel like its too close sometimes between the top players to really call who is better. How accurately can I really tell who's better between in tactical combat, going back to your example Mack, between Krill, TBS, and SevenSpirits on tactical combat if they've never played directly against each other in a war in a big pitboss game and I'm only going by the players' reports themselves? So, maybe I would give them all a 10 there, even if I wouldn't give them the same rating overall. (and I think my overall ratings would have different categories than yours, or at least have them weighted differently)

Afetr our last discution you dont wanan take the music line , so i cheked the techs and looks like astro is posible to bulb, we dont research meditation and we can bulb it.So we can use our great scientist for that.Anyway do you have preference list of GS as i dont find it anywere.
i didnt finished turn as i dont know what you intend to do with some workers.Btw after doing some math is beter from now on to grow alavo and work improved tiles.

I have an old excel document with bulb paths that I'm not sure where I've gotten it from. If any lurker sees something that doesn't seem correct, then please correct us.
GSci
writing
math
sci meth
physics
Education
Printing press
fiber optics
computers
laser (bts)
the wheel
Alphabet (bts)
Philosophy
Chemistry
fission
fusion
Optics
Paper
Astronomy
...
(crossed over a few of the techs that we either already have or come very late),
So, we need to research alpha (which we're currently planning on doing after hbr), not research meditation and not civil service to bulb astro.

Thanks Harry!
That's probably where I've gotten the info from once upon a time, but great to have it in one place without me having to type it all up (and accidentally omitting things like printing press...)
I'd say that it's fairly likely that we'll go for a bulb to Astronomy.
Sadly 1 GS will only get us about halfway there so we'll need a decent research base to finish it off.
Or then a second GS.
Generating a second GS naturally would take 34t though.
From when where starting to work the scientists.
And we don't really want to do that right now as our best cities are busy with war preparations.
I guess we could start one in Pulkkila soon (the first coming from Pyhäjoki), but it doesn't feel ideal.
We also need to eventually generate a GP for our first 12t GA (switching to HR, vassalage and possibly serfdom/emancipation). Mack kind of wants to go for the Music-GA. If we weren't going to war I'd agree 100%. There's lots of synergy when having MoM with going up this path, get the epics and perhaps GLib and/or Parthenon. If we don't have the spare production for wonders and our economy is temporarily stagnating due to war, then the benefits seem to dissipate while the risks increase though...
So what about this war that I've mentioned? As lurkers I guess you might be interested in these preparations and even more so in the execution of the .
Well, so far we've kept up reasonably in the soldier department, but stayed way below the forces REM is amassing.
Last turn was, however, the turn we finished construction, as well as a few military builds...
This is just building up so far, but I can imagine that this power spike will raise an eyebrow or two among our neighbours.
This turn we started a couple of more builds, but nothing really finished:
It'll still be a while before we're ready to strike, but currently the plan look like this:
So that is two stacks at work. The main stack relies on us flipping a tile from the opponent and then roading to get next to the city on the first turn of war. 2 more workers are then needed to allow our 1-movers to next turn move past the hopefully conquered city.
Second stack only needs a couple of workers to attack a city on the first turn. Then a couple more workers and a decent amount of ha's for protection should move past the city to allow for the stacks to join up on the following turn. One risk we're running here is that our opponent will have a few units (spears) on that jungle tile. If so, it could delay the whole attack on the cap by 1t (if we're willing to go with split stacks all the way to the cap there's also the option of keeping almost all cats in the main stack and using the extra turn to bombard down cultural defenses) . Luckily we should have vision of that tile pre-attack though so we at least know what the situation is.

More like you need to finish that damn tier list already!
That said, lookin' forward to the war! Nice writeup, taotao!
