The one you sent was redo from Dave's or only yours, Jale? Anyhow, it certainly doesn't work, same error...
It wouldn't have matter if it were late because I'd have been able to play it early in the morning (if you had sent the one from Dave).

I'm hardly an expert here though.
It may not be relevant to this situation, but I've found that using the "run as administrator" option can sometimes resolve these sorts of windows issues.
If Civ is trying to do something and Windows is interfering, that might help.
If you want, I can also try loading the save on my computer and see if the same error occurs.

I can send it to you, Ellimist. What's your email?
Edit: found it and sent.

I've just passed on the redo from Mardoc. full disclosure: in the interturn there was a mildly beneficial change in RNG results for me. I'll post details in my thread and let the lurkers arbitrate (although it's the kind of thing that I don't think would ever be worth replaying anything for).

Me and Ellimist had a chat just an hour ago and we were able to solve the issue (thanks to Ellimist!). The issue was resolved by renaming the game, all other things we tried failed for me. End the turn worked fine for Ellimist without renaming, but for me it looks like the game somehow had made a ghost file of T76 in the folder, but is not showing it even after revealing hidden files, so that's why I wasn't able to end the turn. Weird indeed...
But anyway, I renamed the game to Pbem_45, so please do not pass the save from Pbem_XLV folder aymore.
I can now play the first turn I recieved (the replayed turn failed too for the same reasons), so no need to worry about the beneficial stuff Jale got ![neenerneener neenerneener](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/neenerneener.gif) .
I guess this doesn't matter for the tracker even if the name changed... or does that confuse anyone?
Nvm... the tracker's name must be updated for it to work (at least the interface). Sending the save directly to you, Molach.

Or just let Molach or another player change the name back to Eitb_XLV?

Aurorarcher - perhaps the folder was set to read-only? I've had that happen mysteriously before. You could try deleting or renaming the folder if this problem happens again.

Good point, Dave. Molach can name it back to Eitb_XLV. Hopefully the problem won't occur anymore after this turn.
And no, folder wasn't set to read-only. If it were, how would it be possible for me to be able to end any other (previous) turns normally?

Glad to hear it worked out. Thanks, Ellimist, for troubleshooting!
Out of curiosity's sake:

If you delete the entire folder (or rename it), does that let the original save work?

Nope. Deleting the entire folder doesn't help, which makes it even weirder... it seems that the ghost file is somehow on the drive blocking me from replacing it, and deleting the file with the folder doesn't actually remove it from the drive like you'd expect. I think such is possible to happen, but not entirely sure how to fix that. I guess we'll find next turn if the issue comes with all the following turns.
What is even weirder is how the ghost file got there in the first place because the error happened when I first time tried to play the save.
