Turn 104, About To Go

Parthenon went:

First thing, scouting barteq.

Culture war along the barteq border - getting the peak back, probably next turn.

My forces, ready to kick off. Keshiks go next turn, 1 movers the turn after, once another sword gets there

Yeah, that was weird. They are working now. I can only assume there was some weird lag with dropbox. I can't really explain it.

Turn 105, In Which AT Goes TO WAR!!!

Finally. About Frickin time.

I moved my keshik's and an axe into adrien's land.

Next turn, a small stack moves to his most northern city and sees if it can be taken - if not, it will get keshik reinforcement.

At some point after that, another small stack will move out of Chicken Stick - not sure when that will happen. I'll give more detail when i know.

I expect to get between 3 and all of adrien's cities out of this - it's not a border war, it's a war of conquest. I wish I had been able to wait till he got a GP, but I dunno if he's even trying.

BArteq:

I got the peak back, and his forces seem entirely defensive. it's getting way ahead of myself, but I'm wondering if he or Molach is a better next target. Obviously, I have a fair amouint of time to spend getting bogged down trying to conquer adrian and the massed hordes of spears he will be creating...

Turn 106, In Which AT Spills BLOOD!!

But not really all that much.

Just the one axe. I hit it with a couple of flanking 2 keshiks - 1 withdrew, the other lost - and then a shock, which won.

And I have a city, with a granary built in. Size 4.

He has a spear right next to allen - he'll be able to kill a keshik if he wants, which is annoying, but he might retreat away.

Habana is pretty well defended - I had hoped that it would be less well defended, or that he would move some units out - maybe I should have waited another turn. I'll needed some Keshiks to help take care of it.

I have a very small threat against Seymour, mainly to freeze his defenders there - it won't really be enough to take the city, unless he moves units back to his cap, which he might - my assumption is that his cap is defended by a warrior right now, probably a warrior and a spear next turn, and keshik's move fast.

In other parts of the world:

The Glib was built.

Turn 107, In Which AT Threatens Much Of Adrien's Land, Whilst Simultaneously Thinking He's Going To Be Killed

First off - this is a very violent world....

I should be able to take his cap if I choose, though it might kill my stack - he'll have probably 2 spears, maybe 3, and a chariot, behind a 60% defense. Or, I could take the coastal city, which is kind of swallowed by his culture.

Honestly, this is a situation where being able to trade for cities would be nice - I could offer peace for 2 cities, which given how vulnerable his cap is, he'd probably take. Why is this something I'd think of???

That's 5 swords. Swords are city takers - they really have no other purpose in this mod. Maybe they are just moving east. But I don't think so.

Turn 108, In Which AT Spills More Blood

But not all that much, to be honest.

Adrien hit me in the interturn with 2 spears - 1 worked, the other didn't, which was a little lucky for me. They both had something like 70% odds. I killed the remaining spear and lost a Keshik taking another city.

I spent a long time deciding whether or not to take his cap - I believe I could take it, but I would probably have to burn it and I'd lose the keshiks I sent down there, so I passed.

I hit his southern city with a sword on an axe, which had good odds and won. I didn't attack the northern city, which he had whipped. I then cut off the road leading to it, so his (presumed) whipped spear will turn into a warrior, I think. I should be able to take it next turn.

dtay's sword stack didn't move, so perhaps he's not about to launch an attack. I'm going to beef up defense some, anyway.

Also - got constrution, so am building some cats.

It was. It is fixed now. I'll post more pics next turn, to give a better idea of what happened.
