Subject: Operative Plan Thunder.
Dear comrades! As I have reported to you earlier, our army has answered forcefully to Persian provocations, organized in accordance with your orders, and destroyed offending enemy units. We and Persia are now formally at war.
Upon your request I hereby present for your consideration outline of our operative plan(a.k.a. Operative Plan Thunder).
The goal of this war has been stated to me as the deciseve defeat of white-Persian ruling clique destruction of its ability for effective long-term resistance and preparing the ground for establishing of Communist rule over all the territory of current Persia.
This goal can be achieved if we jointly accomplish the following objectives:
1) Capture of Hank Williams I, Persian capital. The city is important in itself as an industrial center and its loss will also deliver a devastating blow to enemy's morale.
2) Capture of Jerry Reed. This is city is one of the most important industrial centers of the Persian Empire and also its main logistical hub. After its fall Persia will lose internal coherence and cease to exist as a unified whole. Also, if Persia loses both capital and Jerry Reed, it will lose control of Ivory and a potential to build War Elephants. This is the only unit with which they can seriously threaten us.
Operation "Thunder" provides for two major offensives.
The first one will start on T110 through our south-eastern border with Persia. For this operation we have the following forces ready: 3 Axemen, 4 Swordsmen, 1 Spearman, 3 Chariots (1 Medic, 1 Sentry, 1 C1Shock) and a Skirmisher. This army will advance towards Loretta Lynn. If the city is lightly defended, our units will take and raze it and then move towards Jerry Reed; if defences in Loretta Lynn are too strong, the army will bypass the city and move towards Jerry Reed directly.
The objective of this offensive is to distract the enemy, draw his attention to his southern flank and confuse him about the nature of our attack, forcing him to waste resources on building inappropriate defenders. I should notice that Persian sentries were able to observe our forces concentrating at staging points. This actually works to our advantage as we hope that the plan is already working as intended.
The second offensive will start on T113, after the enemy reacts to the first offensive, through our north-eastern border. For this part of the operation we dispatched our elite force: 1st Cavalry army under the leadership of Semyon Budyonny, our best field commander.
The army will have of 24 Horse Archers. It will quickly advance to the east, capturing David Allan Coe and Hank Williams I and then will turn south and join the southern force for an attack on Jerry Reed.
We project that the bulk of Persian army will be defeated in Persian capital and Jerry Reed. What will left of their army will be scattered between different parts of the country, unable to concentrate in a unified force. At this point, our victory in war will be assured.
