The situation is complicated with a serious stack of serdoa which can aproach to Mondata, becasue of that i decide to raze some roads.

Hey guys, I have mixed feelings about playing such a huge part in your opening story, but your team has definitely played a hell of a game so far. This video may help you answer some of the unfinished questions above. I don't know how much more I am allowed to say than that, but continued survival was certainly a factor. Thanks for the kind words re: my final turns, mackoti. It was fun trying to stop you guys, but your build up from Turn 85 to 100 was nothing short of astounding and I had no counter for it. I'll be checking out your reports for those turns over the coming days from the safety of my new holding cell. It's much nicer than I expected, so thank you for being such gracious aggressors! I am really just thankful we were not playing Alpha Centauri.... Good luck in the coming turns! mackoti Wrote:GermanJoey Wrote:(December 6th, 2015, 01:24)mackoti Wrote:(December 5th, 2015, 15:47)GermanJoey Wrote: What's your tech plan for the next 20-30 turns? So yeah, to expand on this. We're going on a route past knights, but though we will certainly build them we're not currently planning on a massive early knight stack swooping in on Serdoa or anything like that. In six (five by now?) turns we will birth a Great Scientist. That one will be used to start a (12t) Golden Age wherein we will most likely switch to HR, Vassalage and Caste System. Before the end of the GA we want to reach emancipation to improve our economy and we should be able to get two new GS for astro bulbs (Compass and Optics also researched towards he end of the GA). Should we reach this point without hiccups we'll have quite a few options available to us. Claiming (all?) islands in the Atlantic is likely to have a large priority, but how large is impossible to tell before we have better knowledge of the quality and extent of these islands. With East Indiamen, CR2 swords and amphibious knights (coming straight out of the production line in Lapua) we'd also be in a position to do a strategic strike on someone on the other continent if they haven't quite realized the danger of ocean-going vessels. Or our own continent for that matter. For example could knights be outside the gates of Cuzco on the first turn of war if we took Tiwanaku by surprise. And if things go less well and let's say that Serdoa attacks? Well then knights will be very handy indeed to try and defend our fairly long front against him.

Still, he got all of the Wannabe for himself and still had room to settle additional cities afterwards so certainly will become quite strong in a little while. CKNs and Agg could help if when he wants to do further conquering and spiritual generally gets better with time, but he lacks one of the top 2 economic traits (only one of Macks top five without fin or org) so still needs to leverage what he's got. Gavagai - With a religion to his name and early conquest of Grimace, Gav's been a name to watch out for for some time already. That Barteq lifted a city off him during the war seems to indicate that his neighbourhood is reasonably well on their toes so don’t know just how well his situation looks. Serdoa – Slowish start and has only gained one city through war, but equals us in food and has fin to pull him through in the late game. On top of that one of his bigger strengths is a fairly favourable setup of cities on our border. Mogor the Ogre is a city I’d rather see in our hands and I wonder if we should try to switch in a few cat builds to have a chance at breaking that city if ever Serdoa feels daring and declares on us? REM – If we can keep our border demilitarized, both will surely benefit. Hasn’t had that much of an economy so far, but wealth builds, cheap courthouses and mids-boosted specialists I guess will make him catch up somewhat at least. And yeah, he’s even about to get his own religion. I’m actually quite glad mercantilism has been moved in the tech tree as otherwise REMS setup would be even stronger. taotao & mackoti - Fast opening with an otherwise fairly late civ/leader combo. Successful conquest of Donovan which puts them on par with most others in number of cities. Good overseas prospects, but continued land wars means either stiff opposition or a very elongated border. In general I like the chances of this team, but there's still certainly much work to be done. Other players Dtay – Started well (as usual) and has two wonders to his name, neither which is extraordinary though. How well he fares I guess might largely depend on how his knight rush goes? Automated Teller – Fairly strong start taking advantage of his imp trait. Is now nipping bits and pieces of Adrien. If he manage to swallow him whole without too great an effort and gets the holy city perhaps he’ll rise to the contenders list? Ichabod – Decent player that might have gotten a free run on the aesthetics line. Don’t know how good his own chances are, but I do believe his actions will play a part in determining the overall power balance on the other continent.

I'll have the cell keeper add the odd rat or something to your food so that you're well nourished. As mack mentioned you put up a good fight defending and for quite some time I was afraid that we'd stall and you'd be able to hit back outside Mondatta. GG.
