Perhaps just in time, in fact.
Yikes, Bureau? That's 2 major techs he's up on me (CoL, Civil Service) - I am guessing he's the tech leader now. And a GA.
But I'm much stronger than him and he's looking to build infra.
So, I'm attacking. In 2 turns, in fact.
The plan is attack on 3 dimensions:
Main attack:
Take Unboiled Egg back. I can get 13 attackers on 7 defenders, 3 of which are just chum. Unless this is some form of trap and he has a stack of swords behind the scenes, it's toast.
In the north:
That's 5 units I can dump to hit either his northern most city, the new one, or just take workers and piss him off.
In the south
I can set up to take that coastal city. It's got a spear, but 5 keshiks will take that, even if one of them is hurt.
That's 1-3 cities I can take in 3 turns.
I like the way AT thinks, but only ciz im not a peasant in his countryside. Declaring war on everyone in turn with insufficient forces to actually conquer... Seems liable to backfire.

It will end in a dogpile.

That HA stack of Gavagai looks deadly... that's it for Tsargon probably. It looks like Gavagai was able to lure pretty much all of Tsargon's units to south. Very nicely planned and predicted.

A multifront attack that may actually work, quite the rarity.
I guess Tsargon having basically no military at the start of the war meant the usual issue of one stack getting obliterated wasn't a problem.

And Krill with his usual *losing interest forget this game* to help even things back up.

That war-peace-war-peace strategy won't last forever and he doesn't have the military to finish either of targets. Adrien's cities can be easily retaken with cats from his culture, it will be the same with Molach's.
After first significant power dive, AT ends up in a war with all 4 of his neighbours.

It seems we're 10t past T100 ... I just have't had the time to write the update. Or I chose to spend it on PB29 instead. But I did collect all the data together at the time so you can have a dump. If I get a chance I might add pictures and others.
This is a ranking by population, I was looking at making some sort of accumulated ranking valuing 50b=1pop and 1 city centre=3pop.
Dtay: 84 pop, 13 cities, Guess: Maths, IW, Metal Casing, Religious: Priesthood = 1.4k
Serdoa
Comm: 67 pop, 12 cities, Guess: IW, Maths, Currency, Construction, CoL, Calendar = 3.3k
Krill: 65 pop, 17 cities, IW, Maths, Currency, HBR= 1.9k
Tao/mack: 65 pop, 12 cities, Maths(400), Currency(700), Calendar(600), IW(300), HBR(400), Construction(600) =3.1k
Yuri: 65 pop, 12 cities, Guess: Maths, MC, Calendar, Currency, IW = 2.6k
Molach: 64 pop, 11 cities, IW, Maths, Currency, Construction, Calendar, MC, CoL = 3.8k
CH: 64 pop, 9 cities, MC, IW, Compass(700), Maths, Currency, (Religious:Priesthood)(200)=2.9k
Ichabod: 63 pop, 11 cities, Maths, Construction, Aesthetics(400), Literature(300), Currency, IW = 2.8k
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Plako: 55 pop, 12 cities, Guess: Maths, MC, Currency, HBR, IW, alphabet =2.9k
AT : 54 pop, 11 cities, IW,HBR, Maths, Alpha = 1.7k
Barteq: 52 pop, 12 cities, IW,Maths, Currency, CoL = 2.1k
Gav/Bachus: 51 pop, 13 cities, Maths, Alphabet(500), HBR, IW, (Religious:Judaism)(300), Metal Casing(500) =2.5k
Adrien: 49 pop, 14 cities, Maths, Currency, IW, Alphabet, Religion:Priest =2.2k
REM: 48 pop, 11 cities, Maths, Currency, HBR, IW = 1.9k
Borsche
Tsargon
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nyles: 38 pop, 8 cities, Maths, Currency, Construction, Calendar, HBR, MC, IW, Religious:Priest = 3.9k
Donovan: 37 pop, 7 cities, Guess: Maths, HBR, MC, Construction, IW = 2.3k
Elkad: 35 pop, 8 cities, Poly, IW, Maths, Currency, CoL(600) = 2.2k
HAK: 31 pop, 7 cities IW, MC, Religious:Priesthood, Maths, Construction = 2.1k
Wannabee
Assume everyone has the following ancient techs:
First row, Sailing, Masonry, Pottery,Writing, Archery, AH, Bronze

Dtay's stats are striking. His cities are average size 6.5. Any idea of what his happy cap is? He needs to be working a lot of cottages to make up that massive tech disadvantage. A targeted bulb strategy can get him where he needs to go quickly (Guilds most likely) and make up some lost beakers but that is certainly a lot of beakers down on his primary competition. How certain are you on these guesses, TBS?

Mack usually has a great read on global politics & opponent behavior, but he seems off here. People will continue to concentrate on defending themselves against their neighbors / staying in contention by eating their neighbors, rather than invest their resources in defending against a hypothetical threat from a naval power, even if the threat is genuine.
