I probably won't get the sheep fish city but thats fine. I can't imagine he will keep his island city unless he has 2 galleys and they already dropped off troops on the island.

He had enough units so retreated offered peace. To my West, I will plant the forward city and build a defensive stack. To the east, I will just try again with 10+ hitters.

It just makes me super mad still. He plants these stupid cities in their opponent's faces and puts archers in them and taunts. Also where is the stone and marble. Did the mapmakers erase them and forgot to tell us? I calmed down a bit and if I don't find marble stone in the next 10 turns, the best thing to do is get currency, archery, HBR, and chop out HA with the trees I was saving for the Mids, mom, and Taj and throw 30+ HA at DTG. I bet his research is currency then COL.

Argh I am so mad at myself. If havent put beakers into Masonry, I would have started Currency last turn would easily have completed it due to KTB. Started research this turn to hide the fact that I am making -1gpt at 0% science. This next plant will cost me about -14gpt after whipping some pop. Still havent found stone or marble. Archery->HA rush looks really tempting given DTG's research (CoL at 20 something). I think it should take me 8-9 turns running 8 scientists. Note that DTG is only running 4.

The next 2 city sites are going to be up North. Commodore definitely won't like both of them so I need military. Lagash can build 2 archers for the island city after 2 whipping the settler. The desert hill city will require at least 3 spears as guards. Really could use another worker but oh well. For the island city I 2 whipped the granary this turn but put the chop into the library. It was a premature whip but needed to keep costs down.

I dont have time to post a detailed report but commodore settled another city towards me making desert hill a no go. Now i was stupid changed the build back to a worker but OMG i can settle 2 cities toward DTG easily. Need to get back to settler building and pump military to back it up.

Really mad at myself for not planting Isin N of copper, even with the jungle, since that would have made this front city against DTG much more defendable. I guess the 1st build also would have to be a library to grab those 3rd ring borders faster. Next exploration point is the ice S of the island for stone/marble...
Everyone has currency now.
