Well, to be honest, i decided to risk because the Psilons were already at war with 3 of them, but they were allied with the alkaris, which where so poor in tech that I could give them enough tech to reach Alliance status and make them break with the psilons

Ok, I will change my rules because i won again doing the same with alkari, just beign allowed to give tributes like this is too powerfull.
I will just ban giving tributes, unless i´m at war, and only one tribute per peace petition.

Oh yeah, that's definitely an exploit, if not a cheat since the AI never does it.

About this rule, when I play honorable, I allow myself to select/change retreat to any system I own. So no retreat to same enemy planet, no retreat-attack to a different enemy system, no retreat-scout to unexplored system.

But I do allow my admirals to order "if forced to retreat, head to planet X" begore combat.
