Turn 51: The Turn We All Got Cultured (and Happy):
This is frankly embarrassing, I think my AI brain just slipped a sprocket with all the dry rice; I didn't see enough blue circles or something. Anyway, for now the name of the game is recovery; spread like wildfire all over this toroid, using Broken BtS Financial to keep affording it. Need money? Whip thee a lighthouse, work coast. Need hammers? Whip thee a whip, enjoy Chm/henge. Need crop yield? Work thee more damned dry rice tiles. It ain't elegant but it's strong, and war chariots should ensure all the protection we need for a while.

Finally, a third! Bopping out a pair of workers and then we go up to five swiftly after; also need to settle Key Locke over there on the island before too long.
While Stonehenge for Charismatic is obviously very nice, and we can use that free culture, monuments' 1cpt doesn't exactly thrill me on Normal Speed.

Cheerfully bumping along; now I'm up to five cities all in a firewire. Had a bit of a tickle fight, testing DTG's attitude:
...he opted to be hostile, which was a bummer, but still good to know. Fortunately, Egpyt deals with that easily...
After he skirmishered away my woodie duce, we peaced out.
Alhazard is spreading very nicely, although I'm still most worried about DTG Al here is worth watching:
We are open-borders, so thanks Al!
Bob is expanding at a downright scary pace with Joao, he also took this here barbarian city in my mental territory:
Might well be closer to him than me though.

Is that last picture the right one? I don't see a Barb city.

How's it been going?
Yeah, I'm not happy about my past behaviour either.

Bob, when you read this after the game ends in another two hundred turns (so next week given pace): What did I do to you to make you hate me so much? This has been like a textbook example of "how to war zero-sum".

With the amount of maps you make I'm sure he has an old grudge from one of them
