Who knows. If they say I have to live with it, then I do. I made a mistake, and I'll live with it if I have to. I'm just upset because it puts the plans of my allies at risk. I will honestly be surprised if team Killer Angels makes a fuss over this, though perhaps I am just naive.

Man, that sucks alright.

Did you contemplate backing out and declaring war next turn, to avoid the teleport? BTW, where did they teleport too?

They teleported directly south of Fred-burg, so effectively requiring 3 turns to approach and attack. There really wasn't a way to "back out," since I had already landed the troops.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for a ruling in my favor. Otherwise, I'll figure out something else to do.

Doubly ouch! I thought your loaded galleys were teleported.
I have to run.

In hindsight you should have sent Spullla a diplo message: Here I come to your rescue! Where are the bad guys?

Nope! Down here at the Whosit Screw-Ups Emporium, when we screw up, we do it right! smoke

@The diplo suggestion: That could have been interesting, except I sent the Declaration of War first because I thought it would be more sporting that way.

Looks like things aren't leaning my way in the E-mail thread. I'd like to hear from team K.A., but somehow I imagine that they won't disagree with Krill.

Since I have nothing else to do at the moment except click "reload," I have to wonder: Why hasn't Speaker mentioned anything in the E-mail thread, even a simple "sucks to be you?" Clearly, he's not tripping over himself to argue with Krill, and that's fine, though hopefully I'll at least get an acknowledgment from his team to that effect.

Slightly more relevant: Via e-mail, it sounds like I should still go after Fred, though the odds of me actually taking it will probably drop dramatically.

OK, got my response. I suppose I was naive after all, though I really don't disagree with them. The only thing that bothered me was Speaker's suggestion that I was going to try and impugn them. I suppose that's somewhat understandable, considering the recent "debate" with Jowy, but I still feel vaguely insulted. Hopefully I laid that bit to rest, though.

If nothing else, I hope I'm seen to deal with this gracefully (though, Speaker seems to suggest that bringing it up in the first place is non-graceful). Hrm. Oh well. 8 Praetorians is still 8 Praetorians. I'll try to deal some damage someway, somehow.

IMO, your response in the IT thread was quite classy. Feeling vaguely insulted but not showing it, in order to smooth over a potentially awkward situation, is admirable. Well handled.
