Oh the association in my head with amazon btw is that is where some of the tropical fish would be from that are in the aquarium, i didnt make the connection with the store.
The fact I am thinking differently than you guys is making me waiver on the 2nd answer possibly toward cell. I originally thought glass cell you would refer to magneto's prison but you cant do that clearly in 1 word i guess. I didnt think of the microscope clue, but mardoc has been pretty good on these so maybe he would have.
My initial thoughts were that an aquarium is a glass cell. Based on general knowledge I'd say that makes more sense than Amazon. If Amazon is a brand of aquariums... IDK. It's definitely not general knowledge.
So I'm leaning towards Cell as the last word. Amazon seems like a tricky word to clue and Mardoc would perhaps have targeted it sooner?

I am fairly split between amazon and cell, and wouldnt blame anybody to pointing at either, the thing making me lean amazon is that for glass+cell we can think of other clues that could possibly fit better, I cant think of anything that is a better clue right now for glass+amazon.
As you say he could have cleared amazon earlier instead of opera, but i would probably have thought opera was the harder one to get rid of and hit that first
