Mack
TBS
OT4E
REM
Pindi
Me
Commodore
2MetraNinja

How much does thant change if the civ/leaders were all duplicates (everyone has sury of sumer) I.e. How much are the civ/leaders going to swing things?

That list is just on the basis of personality - I didn't want to spend time figuring out which combo they're going to take, so I might re-order it once all the picks are in...

I bet you a beer you won't end this game in the bottom half.

...Because you'll be off the scoreboard way before the game ends...

Just kidding.

It'll probably be quarterbacking based on skimming your updates and zero knowledge of how the mod works. Or baying for blood dancing

Qin (IND/PRO) of Rome (Fish/Mine, Praet, Forum)
for +50% wonders and +100% Forges, Walls and Granaries, CG 1 + Drill 1 on Archery + Gunpowder.

Not bad, but a little boring if you're not going to Praet rush someone.

Quote:Sury (EXP/CRE) of Sumer (Agri/Wheel, Vulture, Ziggurat)
for +2 health, +2 culture, +35% worker & Work boat, +100% Aqueduct, Harbor, Market, Grocer, Observatory, Theatre, Colosseum.

I've slagged off CRE in my time, but this combo could be the one to open my eyes - there's anti-synergy with getting early Priesthood for Zigs, but you don't need to get Zigs that early, they only cost 90 hammers (a big deal in RTR) and the techs cost just over half the beakers of Code of Laws alone, so when you need them they arrive earlier. Meanwhile you've got a fast start and flexible dotmapping smile. Then there is the Vulture, which I'm not sure how to value - it loses to Axes but wins more against everything else noidea.
Conversely the 30 beakers discount on courthouses matters more given lower whip yields especially if maintenance is going to be high. And Vultures should decrease the chance of getting Ancient Era rushed nod

Quote:Washington (EXP/CHA) of England (Fish/Mining, Redcoat, Stock Exchange)
for +2 health, +2 happy, +35% worker & Work boat, +100% Aqueduct, Harbor, Market, Grocer, -25% XP needed and +1 happy from broadcast tower.
Meh.

I'm along for the ride mainly, I assumed if you really want help, Fintourist would be around. If you want help with say C&D, I could possibly do that. But its up to you.

Only substantive thing I have to add so far is that if you took Qin, you have a chance to be the only Ind player, for whatever that's worth. And it could be worth something substantial, given a rush to build certain early power wonders. The other Ind combos are either meh or have superior alternatives imo. Only real competition is if Mack takes Ramesses of Mongolia, which is a significant possibility, but I think Willem of Vikings is slightly better to have at least one earlyish game trait in CRE. And Mack loves knigs not keshiks...

TBS
Ginghis of Zulu
Fred of Netherlands
Augustus of Russia (1st better option)

OT4E
Sitting Bull of Inca
Huayna of Ethiopia (plausible, but Pro Inca is >>>>>>)
Pericles of Maya

Commodore
Isabella of Native America
Saladin of Byzantium
Cathy of Portugal

Mackoti
Ramesses of Mongolia (50/50 Willem)
Willem of Viking
Suleiman of France

Harry
Qin of Rome
Sury of Sumer
Washington of England

2Metra
Alexander of Germany
Julius of Celtia
Boudica of India

REM
Peter of Holy Rome
Kublai of Aztec
Mehmed of Babylon

Piindicator
Toku of Egypt
Charlie of America
Brennus of China

Well, that escalated quickly.

Actually I nearly quit when he initially signed up with TBS. I thought the promise he'd keep out of the tech thread was serious rolleye.

The real problem is I can't guarantee I won't just throw my game to try and spoil his as soon as I meet him, which is just pathetic. And of course I expect him to do the same. alright
