Yeah, I wouldn't have thought if that if I hadn't read too much American stuff. SWING didn't occur to me and it's really a US thing.
I think GAS and WASHINGTON are the obvious two. GREECE is less certain though while technically a state, it is normally to think of it as a nation. RULER and QUEEN are also rather probable too.

I like Gas, Greece and Swing too, though I have to admit I didn't see Gas before OH said it. Queen and ruler are also nice.
Could go with whatever. Perhaps start with swing, because it's the hardest to clue with a big word next.

I didn't point to any other name because it seems we didn't have consensus. But if anyone want to point, I'm okay with it.

Totally.

Where are you from Ipecac? I guess I listen to a load of stuff about US politics, so SWING state seems obvious to me. GAS is probably obvious to a sciency-type mind, but I'm not sure about Khan's background. I think if you have one of RULER and QUEEN you have to have the other, and they are associated with states rather than actually being states (which is a distinction Khan made with one of Bricks clues) so I'd have them as lower probability. Which leaves GREECE as the one that fills in the 1-word hole that's left (and is definitely a state).
As for order of guessing I'd go for GREECE>SWING>GAS, but if SWING doesn't come up perhaps switch to RULER and QUEEN?

I think it'd be good if Ipecac was happy with GREECE and SWING before we point at them. Then I think Brick wasn't so sure on GAS...

I still prefer GAS as the most probable, but we can pick it later if needed.

GREECE is WHITE
I don't think I can reveal SWING because guessing stops once we give an incorrect answer. I can reveal if I have misunderstood the rules.

That's how I understand it, too, Khan.
