sorry for not reporting for days but I been ill. The situation is quite serious DTG is 2 turns from guilds thanks to his GA. His tech is much better than expected. I need to build at least 20 hitters and 6 cats for each side of my land front for defense then rush 20 knights for the island war.

Definitely 1t machinery next turn and we will see what happens in the GA. Just saw that pacifism requires state religion. Missionaries for the 2 starving cities will come from capital and the 2nd city.

Ok I guess I will have the capital make both missionaries and they need to run because I do not want a non-state religion spread in Umma and Bad-Tibira, who should supply me the next 2 GP for the next GA. I could have 1 turned Guilds but that would have required not completing units and I really don't want to tempt DTG to go after me, who I think is heading his knights to AT. These whips really hurt because the research is so tight. I can 1t guilds next turn with minimal research builds but likely need virtually every city on research to 1t banking.

I guess DTG declares on AT next turn. Now he will gain about 10 cities after it is all said and done but if I go after his flank I should be able to get 5 cities. I don't think he will expect the naval assault from the West using canals.

So proceeding with plan but DTG is taking out AT much faster than expected. How to proceed from here? Now I did notice that DTG is whipping heavily especially his capital so his economy is not that good, and won't be for a while even with the mids and the 2 person GA. Maybe not wage war and instead rush liberalism for nationalism, get the economics GM, and then attack with rifles and cav?

DTG realizes his SoZ city in danger but his defenses are completely off. Making token triremes to keep this ruse going. Also definitely attacking sooner than later.
