I don't know what you mean by next-leveling wink. Is it related to overthinking? If it weren't for the secondary meaning of basically just 'dog' I'd dislike Lab, true. I guess there's always the question of why he didn't just say 'dog' if that's all he meant - I'd be inclined to put it down to the second word, though.

Yeah, overthinking. I have to admit that I'm a bit confused by the last few rounds, and my intuitions clearly aren't lining up with our Spymaster's. I'd like to come back at this with a clean slate, but that's the tricky thing about this game smile

Maybe Crossbred and Mutt are both pointing at PART - sometimes people describe their dogs as "part A, part B."

We should try to hit three reds. Maybe lab, hood, and kiwi?

Lab could be a sorceress word, too. But he didn't clue sorceress with four words, so maybe that speaks against lab/hood.

"Part lab" could be crossbred. Though I still think halfbred would be more accurate?

"Part lab" is actually a moderately common phrase, come to think. And it would be used for not just straight crosses, but also backcrosses (3/4 - 1/4) and anything else more complicated.

My only reservation is that putting both words together to get the meaning is a little more complicated than having one meaning that could refer to both or either. But I'd still be happy for someone to point to them. Well, to one at a time.

For a third word...well, I want to see what happens with these first.

I'm good with lab and then part. Let's NOT follow up with kiwi if both of those are red. (Maybe hood, if we think he was somewhat conservative with his sorceress clue.)
