Turn order:
Dave
Mardoc
jale
Auro
plako
Out of games once again... time to start another.
I guess I don't have any particular idea in mind atm, even just standard game without anything special would work for me. Someone even mentioned in XLV thread of Mastery game. I'm not completely against later era start, but I'd probably prefer Thaw start though. If people want to play with later era, I can adjust to that with no problem. Open to ideas for the game.
Settings: TBA
Map: Anyone care to make a map?
Players:
- Aurorarcher
- DaveV
- Mardoc
- jalepeno
- plako
Five players sounds good to me considering the pace, I could live with 6 probably as well.
So basically we're only missing 1-2 players (unless Marodc/jale drop out). Who wants to join the crew? If you can play the turns like we can you're probably going to be happy with the turn pace .

I'll play. Not picky concerning settings.

playing. about the only setting I care about is diplomacy (as in I prefer no diplomacy). I just don't have the time to put a lot of effort into diplo.

I very much agree with AI diplo. I also prefer a thaw start, but would be willing to negotiate on that.
A suggestion for theme: another Losers game, where we can't pick a leader that's won a game. This would eliminate, according to my quick research:
Cardith
Arendel
Varn
Sandalphon
Keelyn
Decius (Calabim)
Charadon
Cassiel
Falamar
Amelanchier
Jonas
Beeri
Volanna
Rhoanna
Perpentach
Sheelba
Kandros
Flauros

Yeah, I'm in.

I'm fine with this, but I'd rather change it to 'no leaders who have won an EitB game', since many of them have been nerfed and really aren't the same as they were previously. Especially the Fin leaders.
Assuming, that is, that a losers' game still has enough leaders to choose from - at least a dozen left still? Some time this weekend I can reverse engineer a list of losers if no one beats me to it.

That's pretty interesting idea, Dave. I give +1 to that!
Also agreed regarding diplomacy.

Double post: If we go with "only that haven't won an EitB game", it would remove Arendal, Varn, Sandalphon, Keelyn and Cassiel from Dave's list. None of those are Fin leaders though. I'm fine either way, but if we got with "no leader who have won an EitB game", it would put 5 more leaders to the pool.
EDIT: That'd leave these leaders (27)
Dain/Valledia
Keelyn/Furia
Sabathiel/Capria
Alexis
Mahala
Ethne/Einos/Thessalonica
Cassiel
Tasunke
Auric
Arturus
Hannah
Thessa/Arendal
Garrim Gyr
Varn
Tebryn/Os-Gabella/Averax
Sandalphon/Shekinah
Rivanna/Faeryl
That's plenty, 27 leaders and 17 civs to choose from. Basically the only totally "banned" civs in this sense would be Clan and Kuriotates.

Technically. Two are Adaptive, though . And Keelyn's been heavily nerfed as well.
@everyone: Any reason to change your spot in rotation (moved, new job, etc)? We had previously:

3) jalepeno, 01:00-05:00 weekdays, 00:00-04:00 weekends, GMT time
4) Aurorarcher, 18:00-21:00, also 9:00-12:00, GMT time
5) Molach, 18:00-21:00, GMT time My schedule is basically the same as it was except my slot ends earlier. I don't recall ever waiting on DaveV to play except when we were doing our 2-3 turn days so I'm fine with where I am.
@plako: IIRC you would fit best immediately before or after Aurorarcher? Or am I mixing you up with someone else?
