Btw still not happy about the game since DTG has easy pickings against AT. The latter should have whipped his cities to the ground but seems like he just gave up since he lost his size 14 capital. Now DTG did fire a premature GA just to knight rush while I waited to run the civics I wanted and get 2 GP for the next GA, which looks like will be used for building the Taj and Oxford. I am trading resources with Commodore for additional health and happy, and If I declare DTG can just jump in on the otherside. Now I can wait for Cuirs/Cavs and conquer Bob's core, but I think I will stick with the original plan of invading DTG by the sea and raze some of his cities. Less than 5 is a failure, and 8 would be outstanding.

Now that I think about it, I am at a huge crossroad here. Whether to continue heavy military build-up or divert production into research/wealth to make sure I win lib.

Well researched paper at 40% since if DTG actually got the GE, I need to go down the education path since there is no way I can race a GE with my 10t Taj build and that is with a golden age. If that happens, really need the econ GM for the 3rd GA. I am just really hoping that is not the case since he did just get a Spy to launch his GA.

DTG finished philosophy. Stupid that this game would come down to 2 GE rolls.

FYI not going to concede just yet. I made plans for a 3rd GA without Taj if I get the econ GM.

The real trick is where to get the non-GS or GM. I will starve Eridu for a GS since that city is close to useless, but which city will get the 3rd? The capital could except now there is a 1% chance for a GS, and I will be whipping it hard for the bank and University so might not have the food to work specialists during the GA. Same with the triple food city except replace bank with market, and I need this city to also whip out grocer and bank during the GA. Starve down the potential moai city?

There's a lot to criticize about my game, including the fact that I didn't report, so you can't actually criticize  Or that I never teched either pikes or longbows and had to defend about knights with maces, archers and impis. Or how I oracled metal casting and still missed on the collosus Those are legitimate criticisms.
But I certainly didn't give up. I was dry whipping maces at the end there.
