Interesting. Glove is the obvious answer for fingers; we're allowed only one more guess, and it seems as though Forest was ahead of Apple in our discussions. So:

That's *got* to be GLOVE.

Which means the only question is whether GLOVE was also intended as a Branches option, or if APPLE and FOREST are the way to go. I'm inclined to the theory that branches was meant for trees, though. If it wasn't, we'd have gotten around to guessing GLOVE after our next misstep anyway, and Zak could have provided his hint this round to our other missing word instead.

So I'd still guess one of FOREST and APPLE after this, probably FOREST first and save APPLE for a later round.

I say we wait. We can't win, so there's not much point in guessing again. I'm pretty sure OH has a word for the last 2, considering this clue.
