Never heard of Twang in relation to taste; I most associate it with regional accents - e.g. "he has a Liverpudlian twang"

Church is good, but the first one that came to my mind for Brewing (after beer) is actually Settle, since you'd let the sediment settle to the bottom before bottling / drinking.

I agree that twang is a vibration from a stretched string/rubber band or a regional accent. Maybe they're confusing it with Tang (as in a tangy sauce)? I wonder whether Church was indeed the word being clued for Cure.
