In all seriousness, I think there are like 4 different ways to play this opening that we should evaluate:
1. SIP. Go wb > worker > warrior > settler. Tech hunting first and then probably mining > bw.
2. SIP. Go worker > warrior > settler and aim for a fast settler. Might be the right choice if we find a great 2nd city location nearby.
3. Move to settle on plains hill, go worker > warrior > settler.
4. Settle on top of the southern sugar for a 3f plant.

Wow, so for starters, I'm so rusty that #4 hadn't even occurred to me as an option, but I think it's a pretty realistic option considering the underwhelming food situation overall. Just looking at SIP, we won't even really be able to support mining all those hills anyway. I'm pretty anti wandering with starting settler in general, but this may be a time where the gamble is worth it since we aren't exactly walking away from the greatest spot ever - the risk is lower than normal. The question then: is it still worth it to go this route if we don't find another small food to replace the clam in the fog? If settling on sugar yields us just 1 unseen 4-5F tile and reasonably good terrain, settling on sugar is probably a home run. There's also a small meta-factor here where we need to guess how much effort Ceil put into balancing the area around your starting spot. If that effort was low (as I thought was the plan), then we've got a better chance of lucking into something really good.
So... the main problem with this start is that the things it wants are all over the place. I think worker first has a high likelihood of seeing our worker standing around twiddling his thumbs at some point since we start with neither Mining or Hunting (for cows). We'll obviously want both Hunting and BW quickly, but I doubt we can pull it off quickly enough to give that first worker plenty to do. That pushes me a bit towards the WB-first start, which pushes me towards SIP. Unfortunately this is likely the slowest route to 2 cities, but it may be the fastest route to 4+ cities which is what we really care about.

First off, this is brilliant.
Second off, if we do go with this I'd be sorely tempted to name the capital Vermin Supreme.

Interesting, I've never come across him before. Although I'm somewhat disappointed that his manifesto doesn't include putting Congress on wheels and driving it around the country.

Huh, I'm crashing to desktop when I try to open it. Scooter, can you try to open it? Considering I'm running Civ on a new system now I don't want to assume the issue is with the file.
