Ok, I will take the last spot then I guess

So then, just need to resolve two questions:

Dreylin, is this a conditional sign-up, or just a lament? I think we could ask Brick to put you on whichever team is going second, which would likely put your team's first clue close to Monday. Can't guarantee later clues, of course, but your odds are still good for having them line up with weekdays, at least partially.

@Zakalwe: Do you want the spot here, since you were bumped from game 5?

It was intended as a lament, but Sunday is better than Saturday and if I can be on the second team then I'd like to give it a go.

Teams will then be:

Red Team:
Mardoc
Lewwyn
Hesmyrr
Molach
sunrise089

Blue Team:
El Grillo
Jowy
Jkaen
Dreylin
Zakalwe

With Red going first on round 1 to accommodate Dreylin.

I'll work on getting a grid ready to go while you decide initial spymasters.

Thanks, Brick!

Anyone on Red particularly want to try spymaster? I'd give Hesmyrr and sunrise first dibs since they're new to the game, but maybe they'd rather start by guessing?

Codenames 4 seemed to indicate that either Lewwyn is incredibly lucky or incredibly good at spymastering - either way I'd be happy to have him take the role wink.

And if no one else wants to spymaster, I'd be willing to take it.

Edit: Whoever ends up with the role, take your time on the first clue. Don't want to end up finishing the round Friday night, after all lol. More importantly, first clue is the one where you have the most freedom to mix and match words, and also the most 'spare guesses' available later...and also the most red herrings to avoid. Therefore, biggest opportunity and biggest challenge wrapped up together. My biggest regret from my spymastering experience was rushing round 1

Thanks!

I might like to try spymastering, but not on the first round!

A little of column A a little of column B? We won't know for sure without more experimentation. devil

I defer to Hesmyrr and Sunrise first, but I do enjoy it and would be willing to go again

If nobody else wants blue I will try again, I think I have learned how to do it better since my first try
