Also Card shark did sound familiar to me, but because I wasn't really familiar with the expression (I think shark is synonym for money lenders?) and nobody brought it up, believed it wasn't common enough to mention. Now only if I could Google up the expression to confirm it indeed existed, things might have been different (although admittedly it would have made no difference due to bank connection being far more persuasive).

BTW I didn't get Bank card because bank card is more of a British and European thing. America we call them credit or debit cards.
