We needed to take this fight, despite the bad odds, as we need to cut his horses asap, as his possible chariots are the thing we fear most of what he can come up on us.

The situation develops in not the best way. Ipecac's galley appeared and killed our GG with 2 units aboard. I knew that risk but didnt believe he would move outside of the passage.

The other problem is that Mistoltin has traded cooper to ipecac and he upgraded 2 warriors.



This guys seems to be the only one who produced basic defenses in his front cities. Finally, someone! The world must know its heroes!

Yeah, Fortuna turns around. Yeterday his double-hillman archer got it, today our GGgalley.

And it is touching how quick prey unite when there are wolves in the cattle pen.

He did refused us OB when we first met him and now he provides our enemy with vital strategic resource for free.

We are of course upset of all this unprecedented charity and complaisance between neighbors in competitive game, but this is law of the land common sense imho. Both Dutch and Mistoltin prefer weak, crippled and dependent neighbor to be kept alive and kicking, instead of Vikings with monstrous army right next to their green lawns.

People cooperating openly is the factor we couldnt take in consideration. We havent done any harm to Mistoltin before, but he had suddenly become full of sympathies to his recent worst neighbor.

We cant know, but in F4 it shows that Mistoltin has -3 relationship modifier "you have declared us war", so there was something between them. I doubt anything serious could be caused by single warrior of ipecac though, but whatever.
