OK, so I finally figured out one that I'm fairly confident on: BeanPOLE (tall, thin person)

I also kind-of like CHICK(pea) - it's a kind of Bean, right?

Then it goes downhill a lot:

BERRY - food / planty

PLASTIC Bean - similar enough to plastic beads?

SCREEN Bean - rhymes...

SOCK - stretching here, but could be going for the alternative association of punching someone for both...

Jowy, that was my first reaction, but I think I've got a few that I'm reasonably confident in and maybe a couple that would be worth a guess.

Yeah Pole seems to work at least.

Apart from that I don't know what we should do. Last round I actually wrote a post for my own amusement connecting our clue Train to every word (except platypus) and honestly most of those connections I wrote as a joke seem stronger than what I can think of for our actual current clue :P
