[Spoilers] Brick tries to be competent and not lose interest

I don't win games so maybe I'm not the right source for this, but it seems that hammers are important. Build wealth for economy, build units for wholesale genocide of entire cultures you dislike, etc. The single most can't miss strategy I've seen trending lately is to have as a neighbor someone who is abjectly terrible at playing Civ. If you can manage that, you'll be in the pole position. That's assuming the map maker didn't decided who was going to win before the game by doing shoddy work balancing the map. neenerneener

But yeah... Neighbors>>>Nearly everything else.

I think the only pitboss game that wasn't an ancient era start was PB6, which was renaissance or something an era either direction from it.

What happens if I'm the one who is abjectly terrible at playing Civ?

I think the compound nature of the Cho-Ko-Nu makes it flow less off the tongue. However, like any discussion worth having there is bound to be controversy and I'll concede that your position has some merit.

EDIT: Have we ever had a Late Era Start MP game here? That would be pretty fun IMO.

So the most important question, what should my theme be? Current frontrunner is songs or movies my 2 year old son is currently obsessed with whenever I settle each city.
