Did you make the edit as player 0 or as Jowy's civ? I'm guessing the latter....

Edit: Immaterial spoiler, on T0 Jowy is TeamID=2. In the save you sent me I'm seeing a line in the BeginTeam section reading:

EspionageEverAmount=4

for both TeamID=0 and TeamID=1. I'm guessing that means those players (as AIs) settled their capital, accumulating 4 EPs, which were saved to the file when you fixed the map problem from Jowy's position. I don't care about 4 free EPs but I'm guessing the AIs also moved units, which means when I host this map the civs for players 0 and 1 will have their starting scout moved a bit out of place by the AIs.

If you confirm this theory please send me another fixed map file taken from logging in as player 0.

Yep, that's what I did. Map editing novice is me. Edit: better map sent.

OK, I think I can fix it by comparing the file differences between the version you sent me and the previous versions I've hosted.

The kicker here is that each new file I'm sent doesn't include all the changes from the previous versions (Jowy's techs, BGN's color/sign, etc). Don't send another save, I can use what I have. I'll merge the latest fix with the previous "final" and just fix the AI unit moves in notepad.

Not professional?! I'm wounded. I was merging map file changes in a text comparison program to avoid spoiling myself on the map by doing it the easy way in world builder. I protest!

I'm hosting the final final fixed version now. If anyone else finds any new problems (hopefully nothing I introduced by text editing the files) I'll look at it later tonight, I have to go out for a while now. Game should be back online in 5 minutes.
