1. Liberty BELL is a famous bell in Philadelphia.
2. Liberty BONDs were sold to finance the World Wars.
3. Both of the previous are associated with AMERICA (although that country certainly doesn't have a monopoly on liberty, despite what some politicians might say).
4. George WASHINGTON led the army in the Revolutionary War, fought for liberty from England.
5 The Man who SHOT Liberty Valance is a famous story and movie.
6. The Statue of Liberty wears a DRESS (more of a robe, really).
7. The DRAFT was used for the above-mentioned wars, although drafting people into the armed forces seems like the opposite of liberty.

TT is British, but I suppose he's probably heard of the Liberty Bell. Aside from Bell, Washington and America sound most reasonable to me.

Bell (think we should guess this without delay)
America
Washington
Bond (I don't love bond, but it does have two meanings - a fundraising mechanism tied to national values, and a way for prisoners get achieve Liberty while waiting for trial)
Greece
Draft
