hmm. Specifically banknote and not bank, which makes me think he wants us to think of SHOP.
I would perhaps then be thinking BOND paid in banknotes. Struggling for a third although ATMs over here have LINK written all over them. Or is he having a bit of a wry laugh at GREECEs lack of banknotes? wink I believe one can DRAFT banknotes out of a bank too, although I am not 100% that is a correct use of the verb DRAFT

I don't get any obvious ideas. SHOP is possible, I guess, and maybe GREECE.

He might be referring to things on US banknotes and I won't be able to help with that.

Draft and Bond are the only 2 I noticed off the bat.

interesting idea there on banknotes especially with Washington gone. Not American either but I would be surprised to learn anything much left was on American notes!

Bond is something you pay with banknotes. Banknotes are used a lot at shops. Something something Greece needs money?

Less certain on these.

What context are you thinking draft? I'm sure I've heard of a connection but I can't think exactly how. I know a bankers draft exists...

Q I can't say exactly where!

Unfortunately, I can't remember any connection either but I also know I've heard of one.

I'm not very sure where to start, but BOND looks okay.
