Pistol for sure.

Besides that-

Pit? Duels were sometimes fought in a pit; Abraham Lincoln, upon being challenged, famously requested to fight an opponent with claymores in a pit.

Pilot? Dogfights are essentially aerial duels.

France? I think dueling used to be common there.

Piano? I've heard of dueling banjos, perhaps dueling pianos are thing too.

Tie? Historically, many duels ended in one, as the combatants would miss each other, often on purpose (that they showed up for the duel and were prepared to carry it out was sufficient to satisfy their "honor").

1. PISTOL was a common dueling weapon.
2. Dueling PIANOs are a popular bar theme.
3. A duel could end in a TIE, I guess.
4. A duel PITs the two antagonists against one another.
5. One of the duelists may need a NURSE.

Pistol is obvious, for the others:

France has dueling at a certain point in history but so did all of europe
Jousting is essentially dueling on a mount
When dueling you may aim for the chest?
As pointed out dueling piano's is a thing
Could a duel end in a tie?
When you are kids you may duel each other with sticks
Gladiators dueled in pits
Pilots duel in dogfights

I personally like mount as the 2nd

I like PISTOL then MOUNT. Jousting connotation is what actually came first to my mind as well, and I do not think other words suggested isn't connected enough to be more valid.

Point to Pistol first since we all agree.

I am amneable to PIANO as well, but is definitely against PIT, TIE, and NURSE.

I disagree with Mount. Why not "cavalry" or "cuirassier" or some other military word for Pistol+Mount? I'm not sure if the dueling piano bar is a thing in England, but that's *exactly* what it's called. TT didn't clue duel or duelist or any other form, but specifically dueling. My next choice would be Pit, since it appeared on almost everyone's list.

If you dont like mount I prefer piano over pit
