Would an auto planet reserve use bot be considred cheating ?

im getting a little annoying by micro manaing my planets reserve.

what im doign currenctly is im having 3 ultra -rich planets spit into the planets reserve.
from the planets resrevee om putting it bakc into the ultra-rich and artifacts planets as well as rich planets building ship

I'm considering a bot that would check the planet list for ultra rich and artifacts planets and disperese the planet reserve into it for me.

also side question is there anyway to see how much Planet reserve input a planet has inque beside giving it a ressruce units and se if it production goes up ?

I would suggest that simply using the reserve-ultrarich exploit itself is cheating. It's obviously not an intended game mechanic.

Would a simple rule to describe that be "Planets producing Reserves cannot receive government funding."?

Rich or Ultra-Rich planets. That's where you get the multiplier effect.

Don't you just break-even on Rich? 100BC in = 100BC Out?

Also I was trying to think of the simplest rule possible. "No boosting reserve-funders" seems straightforward and without unintended consequence.

I think the "No boosting reserve-funders" is a better wording and also seems more logical it also open up for dumping reserve into ultra rich that are building ships but maybe you want to stop that as well ?

No I think that dumping reserve funds into a UR planet to boost production is legitimate whereas dumping reserve funds to boost reserve funding feels like an exploit. Otherwise in re the supernova thread if a mature UR world gets hit with a Nova the colony is doomed without reserve funding.
I second the "No boosting reserve funding worlds" wording.

just dragging it back to my question at hand :D

So its not considered cheating to use a script to use the planetary reserve itself
But to do UR -> UR planetary reserve cycling to improve production is

So if my bot just posted lets say planetary reserve into artifacts planets it would be OK?
MY own opinion is its not a problem since it doesn't change the game state. my progress/chance of wining are the same if it did it manually or by a script. it just saves on my wrist?

I don't think it should be considered cheating to automate a bunch of "no brainer" decisions. It just prevents you from forgetting to do something you knew you wanted to do anyways. If a part of a game can be automated via a simple script, I see it as a problem with the game, not the player.

Whether UR->UR cycling is a cheat or not is unrelated except that it is the biggest contributor to needing a script. But even so, automate to your heart's content.
