If a Point fails, your team's turn ends immediately anyways, so you would have a chance to reconsider.

Knight is a gimmie.

Besides that... Cycle and Back, maybe? "Knights cycle back" is a reasonable three-word summation. Struggling to think of any other connections. Maybe Angel for the religious connotations. And I guess there was probably a novel called "crusades".

1. KNIGHT seems like a clear choice.
2. There were a series of Crusades, so CYCLE?
3. The pope called for at least one of the Crusades, maybe prompted by an ANGEL?
4. I'm sure there have been many NOVELs written about the Crusades.
5. Did they have to cross a BRIDGE in Constantinople?

Knight
Angel, I think crusades clues religious knights who went somewhere multiple times
Cycle
Boot
Van, military definition

And then bridge maybe if there's a specific connection. Constantinople is definitely near the water, and I recall they had a chain they stretched across to deny a portion of it to enemy ships. But I don't recall anything about a bridge used to cross.
