Honestly I thought it was pretty close to a sure thing we were going to lose after ipecac clued clinic! After tropical got the first four I was left with: Angel, knight, cycle, ketchup and dance and I was just having a really hard time figuring out how to clue those 5 in two rounds. Cycle and Ketchup were both causing me headaches.
I wondered if I should have gone tropical: 5 to try and get dance as well but I decided to play it more conservative and got with four and try to clue whichever you didn't get between nut and dance. I was also kind of hoping that you'd hit cycle.
For second clue I was thinking I would have to go Holy: 2 and grab knight and angel, but then I couldn't figure out anything to clue dance, cycle and ketchup (damn ketchup). I was then considering repeat or repetition for dance and cycle. and then 1 clueing ketchup at the end. But then I came up with crusades: 3 and you guys totally got it! It was a bit of a near thing with novel being the assassin, and I was totally prepared that that might happen, but it didn't YAY!
For Dance and Ketchup I considered: Dirty, Shake, Squeeze, Grinder and Buns (Grinder and Buns were two of my favorite clues) Dirty was too close to boot, glass and van. Squeeze I wasn't sure if it got close enough to dance and was too close to pistol (trigger). Shake I felt was close but it was too close to VAN. Grinder I wasn't sure if people A) would get the grinding on the dancefloor, B) the sandwich, C) whether people put ketchup on grinders (I usually don't). But I thought it was a great clue. Equally fun was Buns. And you guys were SOOOOOOOO close. I had thought box was the most likely interference, but I also thought that box and ketchup would have been clued with Takeout: 2. Bob I think you psyched yourself out with Shake being the best clue for dance/ketchup.
Really awesome game. I'm really happy I got to use Crusades and Buns as clues.
