I'm very strong on Pan and Jupiter before Olympus. I wish I had been around to argue more, but I think Pan, a god, was ignored too much while Jupiter, a god, was considered likely. IMHO Jupiter and Pan are the more natural pair then Jupiter and Olympus.

You three all like Olympus now, right?
I think Pan was a God word and was being re-clued, but while I favor Match I'm low enough on any of the Cooking guessed to not feel good about pushing for it.
sunrise does have a point that Pan could be a target of both clues. I hate it when this happens, when we can't know whether there was overlap. That throws the team off track and I never do it as spymaster until endgame when you're cluing for all remaining words. If I were spymaster, Cooking would be a clear indication that Pan was NOT in the first group.
Newbie spymasters like to re-clue for the same words over again, trying to add force to their point and ignorant of the spent turn economy. But that's a trap. I don't know how much David has played or his tendencies as spymaster. But since not overlapping generally represents clearer communication and smarter play, I want to assume that's what's happening here. Which leaves our choices as Olympus for God or Match or maybe Time for Cooking. We're still unsure on the latter, but I can't see how you can clue God and not expect Olympus to be guessed. Pan may be a god, but I don't know if the spymaster knows that or if he would expect us to know that, while Olympus-God is an obvious connection to everybody. And put it this way: if Olympus is gray (no way is it blue), we don't actually lose anything because that simply confirms that Pan was already the third God word. Grillo and Lewwyn both agreed with Olympus as third guess and sunrise didn't actually object to it, so I'll move things along and point to Olympus (and then the pass is automatic)
Cool, good call guys. So since my theory was wrong we just have a single Cooking word left and then we're caught up, right?
So that supports the theory that David intended Temple/Jupiter/Olympus with his first clue, Pan not included. I currently still lean Match over Time for Cooking 2.
