BGN is growing Artists too, here is the proof:
His culture in his top 2 cities has no other explanation imho. His 2nd GP will cost him 160 point, but with pacifism it is not big deal. I wonder if he tries to get 2 GAs or will try to cover the rest of the path to Communism with plain research. Somebody, please attack him

He's right next door, and we have some Grens ... maybe we should do it.
Also, there's no way that the GE could have been him, correct? In which case we may lose the GSpy by a turn or two, but will still score the Kremlin.
I wonder if the fact that we "blew" our first GE on Taj has given him confidence?

I trust in naval attack, because it can be sudden. I doubt we can do it land any good. We can capture barb city and then make fort, but I guess it will take too long.

He never got confidence, I think there is still some chance that he overestimates his chances and loses GSpy race too. Without Taj we could do may be just 2 turns earlier I think, but we would also get serious opponent in owner of Taj Mahal. Let's see how it develops, but we dont really need that GSpy so much. May be I am simply trying to justify my plan

Interesting thing is that BGN is the only player saving gold now:
This means that he will most likely try to get 2 GAs.

BGN city #2 is religion city, so there is no extraordinary culture, so he is making GA in cap only so far, but it will be ready soon.
I also checked a few things in game and it seems that we can put science on 0% this turn also. There are 2 options for us:
1) we produce some research in Rabbits. Producing research is more effective than producing wealth, because cities have markets in Indu.
2) we dont produce science and we lack a few points for SM at T21. This will hide our plans for even 1 turn more. We get SM on T22 by natual research, not even during our turn which is allways suspicious. And on T23 we log in first and take Communism.
What do you think?

My only concern would be the last bit "And on T23 we log in first and take Communism" since it relies on the turn rolling at a better time for us than for BGN. Back of the envelope says it'll probably roll Thursday/Friday, which means we're restricted to our respective evening windows, and I've seen BGN use more varied access times.
OTOH, I agree it's less suspicious to get using natural research - and particularly so late in the plan - so he'd be less likely to be concerned about it.
I'm happy to go with that if you are.
Any key notes for the turn that you've left undone? (registered the if whip, add Scientists note; should we whip?)

Put something else in Rabbits then. I think it can work.
About cap I think lets whip.
Nothing special this turn imho.

"So I did that" ... whipped Goats, Barracks in Rabbits (& switched a tile to a Farm).
Just the one Rifle in Tartar:
But a linking road and Horses connected:
Along with the Ivory means their 3rd city is probably NNW of the Wheat. So it's not a long way away from Tartar after all.
2 cities in the top 5!
Although with a close-up reminder of my
Also REM has Fish:
Which I think means he sent one of his starting Settlers East to the Corn/Iron region, and then sent his new city farther that way to grab the Fish nexus.
I think we should consider offering map trades to REM and pindicator to see if we can get a view on BGN's lands. There's a reasonable chance he has ours already from scooter....
