Turn 15 - 3100BC
Decided on Mining [4] -> Bronze Working [10].
Slipped another Bowman [4 turns] in before finishing off the Settler.
Ian Wright moved 2N onto a Hill (with hindsight a wasted move, but i couldn't be bothered to restart the turn). Horse have popped up between those Gem Hills, and there's Sheep either side making a cross. Hmm, settle on the Horse? Or, for extra defense bonus for Bowmen, on one of the Gem Hills? better send both Bowmen to secure that site for the Settler
Pardew put another turn into the Corn Farm.
PBEM12 - Shaka of Inca [6/6*] PBEM18 (Apps) - Augustus of China [4/4*] PBEM31 - Hannibal of Greece [jnt2-4/5*] PBEM72 - Willem of Oranje - Dutch [3/4*] PBEM74A -Catherine of Babylon [4/4][*ended early]

After another false start caused by El G ...
Turn 16 - 3040BC
Ian Wright moved 1NW onto another Hill, spots an Island: wonder what's on it?
Pardew put another turn into the Corn Farm.
Ooh ... this is perfect sync: Growth to 4, 2nd Bowman AND Mining finish in turn 19!!! I can maximise the IMP Hammer bonus on that Settler -> Worker -> Worker -> Settler -> Worker build queue I want next, switching to max Crop for the Workers ofc.

Turn 17 - 2980BC
Ian Wright moved 1NW, into a Forest; nope, can't see anything on the Island.
Pardew finally finished the Corn Farm.
Working the Farmed Corn (5/1/1) instead of the Floodplains (3/0/1) doesn't affect the figures ... due to finish end of Turn 19 ... but there should be a nice overflow into the part-built Settler.

Turn 18 - 2920BC
Ian Wright moved back 1SE.
Oh, El Grillo's Scout has made it to our culture; damn, that means I have to split the EPs!
Pardew moved onto that Plains Hill I'm currently working ready to Mine it next turn*.
*Seems I miscalculated the sync of the completions to end of Turn 19, it actually came it at end of this turn!!! Mining has come in, and Bronze Working will now only take 8 turns .. something due to meeting both Adrien & El G? Or just the more Commerce tiles being worked?
I'll set the Rapid Expansion build queue (Settler -> Worker -> Worker -> Settler -> Worker) mooted earlier next turn.

Turn 19 - 2860BC
El G's scout has disappeared from view; at least he can't see my Bowmen leave Croydon to go and secure the Gem site
Pardew starts the Plain Hill Mine. Until that's finished, the maximum Crop/Hammer combo is 20/turn for a Settler (17/turn for a Worker as I have IMP, not EXP, bonus), so I've gone for maximum Commerce available. As a result, I'm 1st, or jnt-1st, in ALL Demos except Approval & Life Expectancy; probably due to leaving Croydon undefended.
In the meantime, Ian Wright moved 2s,1E.
Here's what I can see at end of turn:
The Gems city, which will be called Canterbury as it's non-Coastal, might be a bit of a stretch, but the Happy bonus & Commerce should make it viable. Considering settling on the northern Gems as it takes in Cows and misses the Jungle.
Ok, there's a little bit to the north & west, but that's not important right now

Turn 20 - 2800BC
Ian Wright moved 2S,1W; found lakeside Wheat, noice.
Forgot to name my Bowmen; they're now Mark Bright & John Salako - what a strike-force(!)
Oh, i also forgot about the overflow from the 2nd Bowman, so the max Crop/Hammer combo yields only 15/turn for a Settler (12 or 13 for a Worker); still not bad.

Turn 21 - 2740BC
Ian Wright moved 1S,2E.I
Mark Bright & John Salako continue their journey.
Pardew finished the Plains Hill Mine and the max crop/Hammer combo is now 18/turn for a Settler (15/turn for Worker). As such, the 1st Settler, for the risky Gems city, Canterbury, finished at end of turn. Tony Pulis (Worker) is next in queue.

Turn 22 - 2680BC
Mark Bright & John Salako continue their trek. Now with the Settler is in hot pursuit.
With the limited options available for him to do, Pardew heads SW across Croydon to Mine a Grassland Hill.
Ian Wright moves 2S,1E and finds a rather intriguing city site:
A Forested Coast? Is this one of REM's quirks? I over-cropped this, there's Fish, or something, to the east.
