Up the Palace ... again! [SPOILERS]

Turn 25 - 2500BC

Bright & Salako continue their trek; the Settler catches up! Damn, adrien's got his scout heading my way and it's standing on my Gem city spot .. he better move, or die!!

Wright moved 2E.

Pardew put a turn into the Mine; pulis joins him on that Hill.

Oh, Bronze Working completes at end of this turn; I've queued up Pottery next .. gotta keep the workers employed.

Might as well revolt to Slavery - whips, as well as chops, are useful.

Pardew finished the mine, without Pulis' help; Pulis put a turn in a Road instead .. why not?

Bright, Salako & Settler, move towards the city site. Adrien's moved his Scout to the other Gem Hill; he better stay there or move away.

Wright moved 1S,2E; hmm .. Whale, Bananas, dry Wheat & Fish .. nice city spot. OMG! There's Gold just outside the BFC!!! Aaargh!!!

Turn 27 -2380BC

Bright, Salako & the settler made it to the canterbury (Gem city) site - will settle next turn. Adrien's Scout has disappeared.

Wright moved 2NE onto the Gold/Tundra Hill .. WTF?

Another REM quirk? A Forested Lake?!?

Pardew & Pulis moved towards the other Grassland Hill to Mine it. When Holloway (Worker) completes, I'll switch from a Floodplains tile to the newly mined Hill as it will mean a total of 22/turn for a Settler, instead of 18/turn, at a cost of 1 Commerce.

Turn 28 - 2320BC

OK, founded Canterbury on the northern Gems Hill.

As Holloway will finish at end of turn, I've decided to send Pardew & Pulis off to build a route to Canterbury. Hope the scouts of either Adrien or El G don't spot & catch them. The route will link up the Copper and a filler city to work it (Chatham maybe).

Wright moved 1E.

Turn 29 - 2260BC

Pardew & Pulis continue their route; Holloway joins them.

Ian Wright moved 1E; found more coastline.

Working the Grassland Hill Mine doesn't sped up the Settler build that much, and I lose the Commerce; thinking I'll switch back next turn.

Turn 30 - 2200BC

Finally, Khan's Scout's rocked up to Canterbury's culture; shame they popped at end of turn and pushed him back a turn. Scout's can't take cities, right? fromm where he approached, do I surmise he's north of Adrien?

Wright moved back 1W; spotted El G's Scout's lurking about .. wonder why? Guessing he must be directly to my north.

Pardew & Pulis finished the current Road; Holloway leapfrogs them.

Turn 31 - 2140BC

Pardew finished the Road Holloway started so Pulis & Holloway headed onto the Copper and started another.

Hmm .. Adrien's Scout is wandering around Canterbury; someone please confirm that Scouts cannot attack Workers!! At least I can withdraw them back into my borders if he moves too close. Annoyingly, Chatham's Settler completes at end of this turn.

Wish I hadn't sent Bright & Salako off on a secret mission now. If he moves his Scout to block their progress by threatening to take them, I'll take that as an act of war!! I've dropped Dougie Freedman (Worker) from the build queue at Croydon, as I'm effectively building him at Canterbury, and put Geoff Thomas (Bowman) instead, in case I have to cover the Workers/Settler from Adrien's Scout.
Meanwhile, Wright moved 1W again; El G's Scout disappeared from view this turn, maybe Wright can catch sight of him next turn.

Thanks for confirming that, but if he disrupts Worker turns or stops me settling my 3rd city by being in the way; I'll take that as aggression shhh

Turn 32 - 2080BC

Wright moved 2N,1W; El G's Scout popped up on the south coast, where's he been hiding?

Pardew finished the Road on the Copper; Pulis & Holloway Roaded the next tile W. All done under the watchful eye of Adrien's Scout, which has moved between the Workers and Canterbury; so they cannot disrupt worker turns either! The Settler has joined them, as it's safe - thinking I'll call this one Ramsgate instead of Chatham now - wonder where that Scout will be pinged off too when I settle? Hope it gets stranded on that island I spotted rolf

Oops, it seems the secret mission to find Khan has upset Adrien. there's a Warrior looming over Bright & Salako from a Hill. Just so you know, Adrien, I could've got 99.3% odds on it, and with First strike it's highly likely either bright or Salako would take any damage either. however, as Khan's Scout rocked up earlier, I think it'll be judicious to exit stage right (1SE). Geoff Thomas can fortify Croydon next turn, Bright & Salako can fortify Canterbury & Ramsgate
As Ramsgate will need Fishing, for the Crabs & Water tiles, I've set course for Calendar after Pottery finishes:

Fishing -> Sailing -> Writing -> Mathematics -> Calendar
