Forgot to add in the banked 4g into my calculations; will only be 3 turns @ 0%, presuming it stays @ +13g/turn.

Freedman: finished the Gems Mine @ Canterbury.
George Burley joins the Worker roll-call and starts to connect Croydon to Bognor as the River doesn't seem sufficient.

Khan offered Open Borders; accepted. Just noticed he declared war on El G. Maybe Wright will get eyes on what's going on soon.

Turn 47 - 1180BC

Pardew: finished the Cow Pasture @ Bognor.
Pulis: put a turn into the Plains Dyes Cottage @ Croydon.
Holloway: moved onto the Grassland Pigs @ Chatham & started a Pasture.
Freedman: moved onto the Plains Sheep @ Canterbury & started a Pasture.
Burley: continues the connection between Croydon & Bognor.

Wright moves 1NW, edging around El G's culture; no sign of Khan's units so far.

Andrew Johnson (Bowman) joins the squad and heads off towards that marble in the centre to spot a viable city site. Started a Settler in Croydon -FYI, I still haven't whipped any city - this may be the first whip wink

OK, looked at the tech/GNP rate: 100% gives Writing in 3 turns @ -17g/turn (51g total) whereas 0% gives +13g/turn. This means 2 more turns @ 0% then. But the Mined Gems will be worked at Canterbury from next turn, so things should improve.

Pulis: finished the Plains Dyes Cottage @ Croydon.
Holloway: put a turn into the Grassland Pigs @ Chatham.
Freedman: put a turn into the Plains Sheep @ Canterbury.
Burley: continues the connection between Croydon & Bognor.

Wright moved 1N,2W.

Khan & El G have made peace. Khan dropped at least 30 points since turn 43; was that a lost city, or just heavy whipping?

Interesting. the gold per turn @ 0% went up to +16. Racked the tech rate up to 100% and Writing now takes 2 turns @ -17g/turn. Excellent!

I could've 2-pop Whipped the Settler @ Croydon, but I'll wait 1 more turn.

Turn 50 - 1000BC

Pardew: put a turn into the Copper Mine @ Bognor.
Pulis: put a turn into the Riverside Cottage @ Croydon.
Holloway: put a turn into the Grassland Pigs Pasture @ Chatham.
Freedman: moved to Cows @ Canterbury to start a Pasture.
Burley: now Roading from Bognor to new city site; Settler joins him.

Wright moves 1S,2W.

2 Chariots (Kenny Sansom & Jim Cannon) join the squad. They will scout out to the south of my culture & see if I can put the frighteners on Adrien.

Libraries started this turn in Chatham & Canterbury. Croydon will build one as well after the Bowman (Gareth Southgate) completes at end of turn; Settler bumped down queue.

GNP/tech's looking good. Mathematics will take 5 turns @ 100% costing 20g/turn; 0% gives 20g/turn .. nice!

Wright moved 2W.

Turn 51 - 960BC

With Johnson heading towards the centre, with a Settler & Burley following in his wake, I'm sending Southgate after him so I can definitely hold 2 cities in there!

Hmm .. Adrien's got a Warrior (unnamed) fortified on a coastal Hill; Cannon (Chariot) join him and, incidentally, would have 90% odds if he gets arsey lol

Double hmm ... Wright moves, initially, 1W and finds El G's got 2 Settlers, covered by an Impi, seeking to expand his borders Northerly or Northwesterly. He also has a 2-Worker team busy Roading a tile, shame Wright#'s only a Scout!

Pardew: finished the Copper Mine @ Bognor.
Pulis: finished the Riverside Cottage @ Croydon.
Holloway: put a turn into the Grassland Pigs Pasture @ Chatham.
Freedman: put a turn into the Cow Pasture @ Canterbury.
Burley: continues Roading towards the centre.

100% tech now costs 21g/turn, but I'm still on course for Mathematics by turn 59! Even more so when, at end of turn, 0% now yields 24g/turn!! And Libraries still haven't come in!!! jive

Holloway: finished the Riverside cottage @ Chatham.
Freedman: put a turn into the Cow Pasture @ Canterbury.
Burley: continues his Road into the centre.

Johnson waits on his Hill for the Settler to catch up; they will advance together from now on.

Cannon moved 1S,2W.
Sansom moved 1SE.

Wright moved 1N,2W; oh, there's Khan's culture!

100% gives Mathematics in 5 turns @ -20g/turn; 0% yields +24g/turn. So that's 3 turns @ 0% and then ramp it up to 100%. However, 2 Libraries complete at end of turn, so these figures may change (in fact, at end of turn 0% now gives 25g/turn)

BTW, I've got everyone's graphs; so I'll post them here:
