The Grand Tournament

Alright my title is an expansion or 2 out of date but its time for another RB tournament. This will be played on the European server and with Whispers of the Old Gods being released its an opportune moment when the game is a bit chaotic to have some fun games!

Some rules!

The decks must comply with standard ranking decks. This means you cannot use GvG or Naxx cards!
When a player wins a game, they may not use that class again for the remainder of the match.
If a player disconnects and cannot immediately rejoin, then please attempt to replay the game. If this isn't possible then try to reschedule a time to play with your opponent ASAP.
The match winner is awarded 1 point, the loser gets 0. Individual games won will be used as a tiebreaker.
A tied game (one where both heroes fall to 0 health) should be replayed.
Matches are best of 5's . Please play all 5 games since it might be used for breaking ties.

The format of the tournament.

A single league. Everyone plays each other once. The length of the league will be 3 weeks. The top 2 move onwards to finals which will be a best of 5.

League games officially end on Friday 27th May.

Tell your friends! Tell your friends to tell other friends! But whatever you do don't tell the Boogeymonster.

Make sure you log in this week and get the 13 free packs for winning 9 standard games and logging in, though.

Also, don't forget to dust your nerfed cards. That's enough to get a LOT of what you need for a deck - I got 2000 dust easily, and I don't have a full collection.

And the nice thing is that Face Shaman works almost perfectly after the rotation; I just did -2 Leper Gnome -2 Crackle, +2 Worgen Infiltrator +2 Flamewreathed Faceless and went something like 9-3 against everyone's untuned Cthun decks

I'd play.

Just played the games required to get the free packs, using a zoolock deck with the cards left from standard: stuff like shattered sun cleric, scarlet crusader, harvest golem, dire wolf alpha (plus the ones I ended up opening in the OG packs - mostly the villager dude). No peddlers, even, because I don't own Explorers. No Imp Gang Boss either.

Every single game was against a C'thun deck. Only lost 1 game, the game where my opponent actually played C'thun. Granted, it was rank 22 upwards and most of my opponents were playing things like gurubashi berserker, snapjaw, core hound (!) and similar stuff. The only guy with good high rarity cards beat me.
