New Mid-Skill PBEM!

It was a fun map - different from most games I've played, in that the starts were not really similar. My start kind of pushed me to the lighthouse strategy. I am sure that Jowy was pissed that I planted my 2nd city where I did, but my southern peninsula really sucked and I needed to get out on the main continent. I'll try to post an end-of-game wrap up.

I enjoyed myself this game.

I think we were destined to be in conflict. We both needed that city spot.

I liked the map. I don't feel like I got screwed, I expanded too slowly when I should have scouted better and settled early.

I got stuck with a war against Sian and I was too stubborn to offer peace because of something minor scout moves. While I was able to remove his Copper, it really also forced me to build much more units that I normally would have. Then again, I was also a bit lost for a while how to get a economy going with the map. I put cottages down way too late etc. and also went Construction before Currency. It was a fun game early on but it became a slog after a while, also none reporting kind of sucks as well.
