I replayed that turn while trying to figure out what the problem was. Hopefully overwriting the older save does nothing bad.

... you mean other than the well known issue that overwriting an older save makes it unplayable since it asks for the wrong password?

can't tell 'cause that problem is still there so i can't check

Turn passed to me when I had just hit the road to travel. Am finally out of the pell-mell, but exhausted; will not play until morning or early afternoon (8-12 hours from time of post). My apologies for the holdup.

Guys, posting in both games. I just want to be clear on the rules. Since the plan is to have a victors game, this changes how a win will be decided. Essentially it will be, whoever triggers a win condition, and the highest scoring other player (as is not inconceivable that the highest score might not win)

If there are to be any concessions, players have to not only conceded to a winner, but also a second place too. So unless you feel that you have no chance of getting to second, then I'm afraid there cannot be a concession! Might affect the way you think and play out the endgame here.
