The [Spoiler] Thread

The game is probably over. Got my 2nd capital from Jalepeno. Shortly what has happened:

Weak scout ended up wasting time in the icy land behind the portal no way getting it back home. I've my land there decently mapped. Would have made a lot more sense to keep it home to make my rush stronger. Without it things got a lot closer than I would have wanted near Lurcuihp capital.

Another scout headed north and found Dave. I would have liked to rush him, but Lucian was heading to the other direction (East) and wouldn't have got in time back near Dave so I decided to turn around with scout and also built another to try to rush neighbor that I guessed would be in that direction. Unfortunately that neighbor ended up the least favourable rush target i.e. Lurchuip. Nevertheless I was too deep in the plan to rush so I felt I had to go it through.

Last turn fired my world spell and killed his warrior and Mud Golem in the field. This turn used Scouts 1st and then wolfes to kill the Warrior and Scout defending the city. That city could easily generate warrior every 2nd turn so I did put all in. Scouts and 1st wolf were able to soften defenders enough so that I got a kill with wolfpack that then spawned another wolf that was able to capture the city.

I probalby should make a real update. Things are not going well and I've screwed up my good start via playing it too casually i.e. not paying enough attention. Because of how the scouts arrived I've been under impression Elves are my neigbor in the west, but aparently they were vamps and I've that front very lightly defended. Already lost the former Dwarf capital there (a very big loss to me) and gonna lose couple of other cities soon. At least managed to land GLH that is way overpowered in this map, but Vamps have so many things going on their way. I just hope I manage to survive the coming Vamp onslaught. Feudalism is soon coming. Plan is to use Drowns to handle the spectres, but not sure I can really handle the highly promoted vamps. I'll have Golden age in couple of turns and try to get some units to also fight them off.

Oh - you took my concession literally lol. I had smiley there. I could have played few turns forward, but not a biggie. There was no way for us to beat Auro. I was sloppy all game (i.e. played bad) and he did play well. I was just wondering why he delayed Necromancy for so long. This would have been over even faster with super spectres.

Yet another game where we can see that Vampires just have too many goodies. Right from the beginning starting with their world spell, Morois, Governor's manors and when the middle game arrives with Vampires it has been over for the others in most of the games played here lately.
