Plan : kill the HA with the spear, land the axe behind it so that Mr C needs to divert some of his HAs near the cap to defend BB.




Result : spear loses, I kill the HA (flawlessly) with the axe, but now there's a good chance my second galley (with an axe/spear from the other island in it) won't be able to retake BB... Filthy RNG ! rant

I might be able to retake BB next turn, or the one after that. (the stack NE of the cap on the second picture is composed of 3 chariots)







What worries me is that the 10 galleys are coming back, and I think they won't be empty...

Be thankful he didn't put all his soldiers on that midway island first, otherwise you would of had whatever is in them now already!

Well...it might be better to die off than to keep becoming less and less relevant? Free up your time for another game, with a blank slate? Of course, dying hard is a plus, make Cairo pay for his gains.

I'm happy to dedlurk you again if you want, although my work time crunch means my contribution would probably resemble the last few pages more than the first few.

I don't want to speed up my death, if Mr Cairo wants to win this game he'll have to do it the hard way. I won't throw the game to him.

Of course you're welcome to be my dedlurker in the future. With this and 27 about to end for me I might start another game on top of PBEM74. I hope I won't be as terrible as I was here...
