Sorry I didn't get to this turn last night, I should at some point today though.

Right. Having issues with my game. Lagging huge amounts making it unplayable earlier. Nothing to do with the PC as Skyrim will play fine on high. Had to uninstall and currently reinstalling... Download is rather slow currently.

Well it appears that this is a bit of a farce of a turn; I'm now diplo-locked in a different window. duh

I should be around and able to play the turn for th next 1:30-2hrs, so if anyone can unpause during that time...? Otherwise I'll need another cycle and to try to play tomorrow - though that may not happen given the holiday. bang

Sorry all! alright

Unpaused. Hopefully not too late.

I guess I'll repause before I go to bed if Dreylin doesn't catch this in time.

Thanks Scooter.

It probably /is/ too late, but this turn has been held up enough...!

Definitely too late, but I've played. Left the turn running for REM with ~17hrs left.

Can anyone help me? I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still the game lags stupidly. Like I try to move the map and it judders all over the place, and units take a while to move. Even in a new start game with no settles so it isn't due to excessive map load, with it on lower graphics settings. Other much higher processor requirement games run fine. I can just about manage currently, but this is going to start causing misclicks all over the place with the amount of lag there is in the game.

I was having trouble with the server kicking me out repeatedly the other day, but not any lag issues. If you're having the issue during a Turn 0 single player game, it sounds like something on your PC isn't happy with the game. Here's a few shots in the dark:

Do you have the standard or steam version of the game? Either way, you may try locating the exe->right-click->properties->compatibility and try that? I've seen that solve weird issues before.

If you have steam version, you might right click the game -> local files -> verify integrity of the game cache.

Also, take a look at your installed programs list and see if anything installed right around the same time as your problems started. Same thing with windows update.

Steam. It happened after I crashed out of 27, and since then just super lag. No other things affected on the PC. Really annoying.

It replaced some files, but didn't solve the problem...
