REM goes on the Sudric Express [Pitboss 33 spoilers]

If I pull this off I will control 30isj cities to the 20 odd of scooter, and be leading in demos. Their window will be during the invasion, but they probably will not have the ships to bring units over like they need, or the troop numbers. Also I shouldn't be able to be dog piled until it is too late.

Well, I'm taking a huge amount of time on this turn. Huge amounts to think about. Lurkers are bound to be happy...

Moving the attack on Pindicator up to next turn. I have 9 turns of Drey4E peace left and 5 of DZ, but mainly as Pind has combustion, and will have oil hooked next turn. That will kill off any attack. Irritatingly he has literally this turn signed a def pact with BGN. BGN cannot do a huge amount here, except maybe threaten my island of Douglas, and have a few now outdated ironclads buzzing around me annoyingly. Hopefully this will make it very awkward for Scooter to be involved in a meaningful way, and the dust will have settled before he can move into threatening positions against me.

I am set up to take 5 of pindicators cities next turn, I doubt he will be able to do much even if he sees it coming. Nothing is in visual range, and I flipped an important railroad tile last turn. Toying with a war/peace on Scooter this turn, but I think that will signal I want to eat someone, so they probably will not take. This is gonna get interesting now!

Right. All set up. Scooter will certainly guess that I am coming for pind with where his scout is. Pind has been playing shortish turns so hopefully he won't notice, but his scout will be able to see should he be proactive and look for my ships. So the question is how will Scooter respond? If he makes moves towards me then I may need to call off the invasion. This could be a big mistake, possibly essentially bringing the whole world into conflict with me... I'll sleep on it and see how I feel next turn. Nothing definite yet, but certainly more fun to war! Gotta remember I need to wait for Pind next turn.

I'm sure BGN won't war me as that won't bring in pind as an ally and he may easily think I want to attack him and not Pind.

Mildly miffed. I swear BGN has been waiting until I play for like the last 10-15 turns since our treaty expired, yet the turn I set an attack up on pind he plays ASAP... I suppose it'll make the turn split mildly easier though.

Looked around, and I think I will have to declare on Scooter too, if I go for it. He seems to have positioned himself ready for a counter. I might as well get the initiative. I have about the same army as the 3 combined. Scooter has foolishly set up a couple of galleons in his fort above his city unguarded, which are in range of Yaks. Would be silly to not kill them in port with what I assume are 6 veteran units that he would try to raze Yaks with. If I land all of one galleon there 2 inf/machine gun I doubt he will be able to easily kill them, and given the second galleon was there mainly to prevent a recapture of archangel by Scooter or Pind then this may be a better use of the units.

Pind seems to have built a destroyer or 2 (or upgraded I suppose) but very little changes on his border forces. Still mostly grens/rifles. I think that this is do or die here, depends what I see in archangel. Pind having combustion is just too awkward to let him carry on with such weak garrisons.

Scooter of course now also has combustion, and is showing 2t to physics. The GNP demo suggests a lot of wealth building, and he has just gone to FR, so he seems like he doesn't want to war... Best time to give it to him! Only major concern is fighting 3 wars... My WW could hit the roof, very quickly. I may have to stop on tanks to keep my ivory for a short while longer.

Reality check - am I going to war with half of the world? I think it is going to be worth it if I can disconnect Pinds oil. I will tear up production that could be used against me for little cost and make the seas around me really difficult to navigate. Scooter if I can take the galleons out will be able to offer limited help and be stuck a bit for warships for a good part of the fight. BGN will be a nuisance with ironclads, then manageable on my shared island. Only thing that would stop me is inability to take Pinds oil on t1 of the war, and hopefully invalidate many destroyer builds.

It's WW1 in this world! At war with BGN/Pind/Scooter. Went well, took 5 target cities. Had to raze the oil city as even with being able to put 4inf and a machine gun in it I could not garentuee that it would not be captured. However I feel this was a mistake, as any units in the galleons that I was worried about would be able to use the railroads to hit another of Pinds cities that I don't even like too much and I should have razed! Damn. Splitting them might have been enough to keep it awkward for them to be retaken. If Scooter sits in the Pind cities it will be hard to take them back.

I shot white peace offers to both Scooter and BGN but I doubt either of them will take them. The most amazing possible scenario right now is for Drey4E to have a stab back at Scooter but I feel this is unlikely. I have pics but with my game lagging so much it took a lot of time to play the turn so no time to post right now.
