You are all clearly losing your minds or not thinking through or just scum trying their best to muddy the water.
Think about :
It has often be the case that the one who was close second on D1 is spared on D2.
What if for example scum had more people on Psilly than on Adrien and didn't want town to focus too much on that direction?
What if they feared that a cop would check on Adrien (that would be a natural choice for cop to do) and announce his clear innocence?

About Prometheus and Dp101

Psilly reads as somewhat anti-town to my limited experience, and most of the other players appear to agree. So, Psillycyber .

Well, looking at the interactions since my last vote Psillycyber's arguments against Lewwyn seem to be coming out of thin air so I think I'll vote for him. He looks like scum trying to make a case out of nothing to try and look active, but it comes off as weak and desperate.

I don't like these 2 votes. But Prom is most likely out for the rest of the day so pressuring him doesn't do any good.

DP101 is new As far as I remember so I hesitate to lynch him on D1.

Maybe someone accused you of that, but the gist of Gaz's case which I support is that you jumped on the Psilly train using the strange claim that he was tunnelling, which A was nit true and B was not scummy.

Looks like scum not exactly understanding why a townie is considered scummy by other townies but trying to get in on the action.

Sorry for my poor participation so far, I finally have access to a computer rather than my phone for a substantial amount of time, and I have been waiting for enough interesting things to occur in game to make a decent post. I will start catching up, and then elaborate on my reads.

I have proposed what I think is the right path. I have tried to give arguments for it but so far to no avail. we are now near halftime of D2 and all we have is a general agreement that Prometheus looks bad so far one can judge this by his meagre (contentwise) posts.

Sure.

I think Adrien was targetted by a town-aligned vigilante who was swayed by your and my honeyed words, or wanted to rectify Jabbz's mistake.

I think that scum aimed their kill at Zak or me, and a doctor protected the target. Therefore I think there is a doctor out there. Therefore, I think it is anti-town to call for a complete role-claim at this stage. Therefore, I think you are likely scum.

Hmmm. Right now, the scum situation seems incredibly muddled. Jkaen's pressure on me to the point of ignoring more critical votes made me sure he was scum trying to take out the easy target, but now with mason I see no way he could be scum. Fake claiming mason seems like at most a desperation move to try and get out of a lynch, and otherwise seems like an incredibly boneheaded way to force oneself into a 1v1 with the real mason. As for the rest of the field, Rowain seems angry but not necessarily guilty, his play is a little baffling but he comes off more as frustrated villager than overly defensive scum. Zak and Prometheus are hard to get a read on, they both haven't posted that much (or at least in Zak's case they haven't been as active as in other games I have followed along with), so could be a bit of a scum tell, but I don't really believe in killing lurkers just because they are lurkers, and neither of them have done anything especially scummy. Gaz feels like town Gaz, but he always appears to be town to me. Lewwyn... Lewwyn I'm not sure about. Like Jkaen he has put a lot of pressure on me, immediately jumping on half the posts I make and "deliberately misinterpreting" me, but at the same time the coordinated scum reads on him might be the result of a close scum team taking the easy option rather than a town concensus. The others I don't really have a feel on right now. Mostly I just need to organise my thoughts and figure out which scum tells are more important.

Blah blah blah. Even if you haven't decided which scum tells are more important, maybe you could enumerate them nonetheless?

Ok fine, I will try. Don't expect this to be very exact, a lot of odd logic and reads have occurred in the last 10hrs since I looked at the thread, and I'm not sure what to make of all of it yet.

1. Lewwyn. The only town points I have given him so far basically only come from me finding it weird how quickly people decided that he was definitely scummy, and looking at how this town has treated other cases this no longer looks like that much of a tell to me. The way he keeps jumping on my posts whenever he finds anything even slightly suspicious makes me feel that he is applying pressure to the easy target and just waiting for him to crack.

2. Rowain. His recent posts seem to be wildly off base and use incredibly odd logic. Why would you argue with someone that looked like almost confirmed town? The mason claim isn't that unbelievable, and in this confusing mess resulting from the odd nightkill we need all the confirmed town members we can get.

(Distant) 3. Fenn. His play feels not that strong or helpful to town (unfortunately kind of like mine so far). He went for the Psilly lynch along with me and a few others, but many people did that. I just have a general feeling of him not having contributed that much thus far and him not really helping town that much

Further suspects will have to wait until more votes come in, my reads on everyone else are either town (like Gaz) or muddled (like everyone else).

I definitely believe that DP101 wouldn't want to play Mafia Lover on his first game. On the other hand I can believe he wouldn't want to play hider either, even if he did get it. So I can see DP101 having taken a better Mafia role if the only Town role on offer was hider (an expert-level and overly stressful power role).

I know you got off of my case later, but I have to ask, why does my discard of those two mean that my third choice has to be mafia? I thought I had made it clear by this point that I considered both these roles worse than vanilla (well I guess hider is equal if I just don't use it), so I fail to see why I have to be mafia if I didn't want either of those.
