My view for these two has not changed. Zak's death just confirms novice being scum for me. Just waiting for the evidently coming claim that will put dirt on my claim

Unlikely. He might have discarded Backup Doc to get scanned and cleared by cop. But honestly I would think it more likely you and him beeing scumbuddies together than him beeing Godfather so rather unlikely for now.

I don't think they have strongarm and that their kill was blocked. Why else would they avoid killing Gazglum.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Can't kill the guy with the power role so they settle for the confirmed town. Assuming Gazglum is town, but I'm confident of that atm.

I think that Fenn has been acting town-like, and I scanned him town. So after my little speech about Occam's razor, it would be pretty crazy for me to start suspecting him now.
Lewwyn wasn't forced into playing mafia, because he could have picked vanilla town. But he might have been tempted by a power role.
Lewwyn, because I want to hear his claim now. I would rather he claim before Novice, at this stage.

which looks to me like Meiz setting a trap because fenn has previously claimed that he discarded backup doc because he would be VT if no doc is there.

AFAIK the GM could force him to play 3rd choice for balancing reason which would also show his discard as VT.

Would giving Lewwyn his 3rd pick have been necessary though? I'm not sure but I think everyone here got their first choice and none of the deceased ever mentioned getting their 2nd pick IIRC, so it would be unlikely for him to be shunted to his last pick.
