Dave didn't give "electricity" as a clue though, so the third word is probably a bit divergent- perhaps Mercury, for a second-degree thunderbolt -> Zeus -> Mercury connection.


Besides that, let's guess Queen.

The other possible connection is through Bohemian Rhapsody. "Thunderbolts and LIGHTning, very very frightning..." sung by Freddy MERCURY of QUEEN.

If the three of those hit, I say to choose CAPITAL to finish up Commonwealth, and then he can two-clue us allowing us to pick up CONDUCTOR as a plus-one.

I don't think that fits much. Thunderbolts are natural phenomena, and even if we were talking about magical lightning, that's shown just as often being cast by the fingers (Think of the Emperor in Star Wars).
