I agree we should expect the turn to take 2 days through the US. I'm just not sure it's worth splitting Europe up. That almost guarantees that we'll have 2 day turns unless we can use secondary windows and I don't think we lose anything if me and Auro are reliable with our windows.

why not just plan for a comfortable 2-day turn now rather than cram 4 people in the same play window and throw later-game turn reliability out of the window.

This makes some sense in a game as large as this one looks to be.

Alright, here we go. I rolled for first player, and it came up Bob. That means we've got:

5 - Auro: 2:00-4:30 PM EST.

6 - TBS: 3:00 - 7:00PM EST

7 - Dave: 6-9 PM.EST

0 - Bob: 7 PM - 11 PM EST

1 - Ellimist 8-12pm EST

2 - jalepeno: 9-12pm Eastern US time (preference for early/middle)

3 - Dreylin: 9-12pm Eastern US time (preference for early/middle)

4 - Q: 0200-0600 EST

Joey, first off, thanks a lot for working the map for us! And to Ichabod for assisting.

Secondly, would it be non-trivial at this stage to switch jalepeno & myself around in the order? Not a big deal, but I think jale fits later than I do maybe.

Also, play time: 9pm - midnight, EST. Can't promise that I'll always hit the beginning of that slot. Can also play occasional shorter turns in the morning 6am - 7:30am.

Thanks, Joey! Can you tell us the map size (Standard, Large, etc.)? And the difficulty level?

It might be better if I was after jalapeno and dreylin. We have basically the same slot, but it sounds like I'm more likely to use the later half of it than they are.

Also, with 8 people and four of us at the same timezone, are we sure we don't want to do a 48 hour cycle?
