Weaving 5

5!

Well, definitely Spider and Straw.
A Sock is knitted rather than woven, but maybe it's close enough. Button is similarly craft-related but a bit further away.
A Mammoth is wooly...

As for the other meaning of weaving, any of Pirate, Jet, Eagle and Shark might weave back and forth.

My current preference is to guess Spider, Straw and Brush (from before), and then think further.
Notably, the 5 clue suggests we need to get them all this time, so we should definitely not be passing.

Sock, button, spider, straw, in that order. Maybe brush next because bristles = fibres = weaving?
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

I have 4 I'm pretty sure of:
STRAW (into gold)
SOCK
SPIDER
BUTTON
^
After that...
I could see a weaving TABLE or JETs weaving though the air or a LAWYER weaving words

I'd go those first 4 then BRUSH then take a guess on one of the others.

MAMMOTH is something to consider, disagree on Pirate, Eagles don't weave as much as soar and dive much less mobile. Shark is something to consider.

Hmm, we have lots of plausible choices here, but we seem to vary in terms of what order to guess in. My personal preference would be SPIDER > STRAW > SOCK > BUTTON, with some consideration for BRUSH and MAMMOTH.

If we make it through the four we all seem to agree on (and I'm fairly confident that we will), I'm not at all a fan of the words using the "agile motion" definition of weaving, but that could just be me.

OK, so.
Everyone likes Spider and Straw.
Everyone except me likes Sock and Button. I'm not desperate about them, but I'm not averse to them being guessed and I don't have any better ideas.
Brush was going to be our next guess for equipment, so I think we should go for this before taking a punt at the fifth weaving word.

For that fifth weaving word, Jet and Mammoth seem like the best candidates currently.
